The small village was filled with laughter and the smell of alcohol. A celebration of some kind was taking place- every man, woman and child were outside in the city square dancing and having fun. No one was paying attention to their businesses or houses. Even the King and his family were conversing with their subjects. The situation was ideal for a certain pirate crew. It was unlikely that anyone would notice them committing crimes- and so the crew of Minerva Pathos was integrated into the crowd, enjoying themselves in a slightly different manner.

Marcus
Marcus sat on a bench near a jewellery shop, slowly sipping on a stolen bottle of wine. He wore a large straw hat which concealed his face and attempted to stay out of sight. His eyes scanned the crowd looking for a potential victim that has either passed out or was distracted, so he could 'borrow' some money. Unfortunately, many people left their valuables at home. With a sigh, Marcus stood up and strolled over to the food stands- he was more likely to find a victim there. However, he was not aware of the fact, that a group of men dressed in suits of armour were observing his every movement, ever since his crew entered the town
Anya
Far away from the carnival, a certain shop was illuminated by candlelight as a blue-haired girl looked through neatly folded gowns on shelves. On her back, she wore a large leather rucksack already filled with books, bottles of ink and expensive jewellery. Anya's hands glided across the fabrics looking for a smooth and light material. She was clearly taking her time, knowing it was unlikely that the owner of the store would return anytime soon. After a couple of with minutes, she found two dresses which satisfied her desires. With a hum, she carefully placed the articles of clothing into her rucksack before casually leaving the shop and returning to the carnival.
