[b]ABSTRACTION DESCRIPTION  ⫻[/b] Rooting from his dislike from being mute and his stealthy nature, Grant has the ability to remove other people's speech - and their ability to hear as well. The extension of this ability is creating a field around himself that is up to fifteen meters that completely eliminates sound - he can control the size of the field of course. If he wants to, he can make it so small that it masks all of his own sounds. It travels with him, and inside this field, no sound will escape regardless of how loud it is - but if it were to leave the field, the sound would go on normally. This field is imperceptible to the Blind, but the Awakened and other such beings are able to perceive it as a darker tint on the environment. One strength this field has is that the Awakened are not immune to it's effects.

[b]IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MOUNTAIN  ⫻[/b] His control over silence gets a bit more fine, and allows him to mute specific sounds within a fifteen meter radius by focusing on it. In addition, his max field doubles in size (up to thirty meters). He also gains a second ability that is the inverse of his original Abstraction. He gains the ability to generate sound from himself, nothing louder than what he can normally produce with his body. He can create any sound that he can imagine, and thus regains the ability to speak.

[b]LIMITS  ⫻[/b] Grant can only have the field up for a limited amount of time - it wears down on his stamina over time. The size of the field plays a part in this, if it's limited to himself he can practically keep it going for hours at a time. At it's max size, he can only keep it going for about ten minutes.

[b]WEAKNESSES  ⫻[/b] The field also removes his own ability to hear as well - regardless of size. So once the field goes active, he'll be mute as everyone else in the area.
