Almost like he has never been on adventure before. How quaint. Marina wondered if the man before her was nothing more than a boy; his reckless excitement and gleeful reaction sure did seem to indicate that much to her. Not that being a gleeful peasant with no real experience was a bad thing. She had decided to take on Terhikki as a diving partner, after all. Having more sidekicks was just a testament to how amazing she was as a diver. As the excited man asked her for her about her personal experiences as a diver she could feel her lips curl into a wider grin. Where should she begin? Her experience at the academy where she had been groomed to be an imperial diver? The escapades her and her former diving team got into in the far western banks of the Imperial Sea? There were a few really tempting options, but she didn’t exactly want to make Terhikki seem any less exotic and interesting; she may have been a part of the imperial bourgeoisie, but she wasn’t cruel. “So many questions. They must keep you under lock and key on this island.” She frowned albeit playfully so. “Don’t worry, my dear, you’ll have all the stories to tell for yourself if you stick with me. I guarantee it. I’m a bonafide legend in the making, after all. ” She kept eye contact with the man, her frown moving back into a devilish and almost arrogant smirk. “I’ve been diving professionally for six years. I’ve seen a lot, though describing a leviathan might be a bit of a tease for you. You must see it for yourself.” An aching anxiety filled her body as she uttered the word ‘Leviathan’ almost like she was fighting herself from remembering something very terrible. But Marina kept composed, she wouldn’t show any sign of weakness in front of her new associates. As she pushed the thought back, she moved her eyes to the blue-haired girl that kept behind the man and held out her now-empty glass. She was curious about the silent girl that lankered behind the excited man. She wondered if it could be fun to play with her, too. She considered it for a moment, but decided to not bother for the time being.
