"Lordling" Gender Male Age 15 Height 165cm/5'5" Weight 58kg/127lbs Hair style Short and unkempt. Hair Color Black Eye Color Hazel Skin Color Pale Whistle Red. Used to be a bell a couple of days ago. Speech accent: Outrageously French.
Personality
Siegfried is taciturn and rarely does seek to interact with other people. He seems to shy away from human interaction and often dwells deep in his thoughts. He is unusually jaded and cynical for his age, and makes deliberate use of sarcasm to keep annoying conversations from ever taking place. He also has an habit of delivering piercing glares even when it is not really warranted. Beneath the aloof exterior, Syg is a hardworking, diligent individual, with strict ethics, and rarely if ever will fail to come to aid those who are in need. He also offers advice whenever asked, honest if blunt. Rather, it is when things are at their worst where he does shine. Sieg's resolve is near bottomless, and he can shake his own fears and keep his wits together when many fail, even going so far to inspire others as a beacon of light in the yawning Abyss. Sieg would never admit it, but he has some sort of big brother instinct towards younger people.
Background
Siegfried was born as a blue blood, proud and noble. However the La Roche state had seen better days, and in these days only the name was literally their legacy, as they had kept to keep selling their possessions to survive in their impoverished situation. Nevertheless, while the situation was grim, he had a decent childhood, and he came to love his parents with passion. His elder sister was the one he was more attached though, even if she was bedridden due to being born with bad lungs. Back then, he had decided to become a doctor for her sake. Tragedy struck in the household soon after, as both his parents were caught in some unsavoury business and were killed. Siegfried felt his insides burn, and he was disgusted. Apparently they had come paths with one of the most exotic individuals, a delver with a white whistle. What his parents were doing in the far off Abyss was something that puzzled the youth to no end, but he figured out they had come because of the alure of quick riches. Siegfried argued with his elder brother, but in the end he relented, and allowed Sieg to chase the trail of his family's assasin while he took care of his sister and the household in his stead. Arriving at Orth with the few funds he could scrounge, Sieg soon found that chasing the White Whistle would be no small task. The Abyss was probably the most dangerous place of the world, and he required training. After attempting the direct method with several adults and becoming exasperated, he then sought out a roundabout way. Using the fact that his parents were dead, he entered the orphanage and made a hefty donation by doing so, in hopes of being the recipient of some sympathy (and training). It paid off somewhat, but the life in the orphanage feels odd and awkward, although he hopes it won't be for long. Talents Siegfried's a crack shot with the crossbow, and he isn't bad employing weapons, thanks to his rigorous upbringing. He can also mend wounds quite proficiently. Likes Gourmet foods, wine, Songs, Medical studies and anatomy, kids and baby animals, hunting. Dislikes Amoral bastards, hotblooded people, condescending adults, excessive contact, housework, lazy people.
