[@DeadbeatWalking] I've been thinking about House Tarly. In the books, Randyl and Dickon are still alive, but in the television series, they both die at the hands of Daenerys Targaryen; roasted by Drogon after one of my favorite battle scenes in the show. Since George R.R.Martin has not written the ending to the books, what is your take on their fate? Could the father and son be dead as in the series? Samwell Tarly, who intends to become a Maester of the Night's Watch continues along that path, but his "Legitimized" son, Sam Tarley could viably inherit Horn Hill as even Randyl Tarly stated he would raise the boy as his grandson as long as Samwell left. If this sequence of events follows into your story here, the young Sam Tarly would be 39 years of age? and he would have a similar disposition to Craster; hating the world? or maybe slightly tempered? but educated in the southern lands. He would then be lord of Horn Hill. Or how about Sam Tarly, lord of Horn Hill in 340 AC has a younger brother, Alan Tarly who would suit my purposes as a member of the KG? What are your thoughts here? Also would Tarly remain a sworn house of the Tyrells in Highgarden? I see Sloth is making a character, Lyonell Tyrell I believe who is head of house.
