Drake Morrison

(month recap) Drake's anxiety seemed to wear off over the period of the next month as he started worrying more about classes. While he still wasn't comfortable transforming yet, as he has had a hard time controlling himself with all that power, he still enjoyed working out and sparring, in fact, it was his favorite pastime as there wasn't much else for him to do. Until he learned to completely control himself, he made a promise to himself to not transform during a sparring session unless specifically instructed to by a teacher. Even then, however, he was proving to be more than capable at standing his ground in human form. He still didn't speak much to any of the other students unless he was spoken to first, or if he ran into Serena again. So far, she was really the only person that wasn't faculty and staff that he somewhat knew. He did however, have a habit of watching those around him. Over time, Drake started to notice a particular red-haired vampire girl being singled out by some of the more hot-headed werewolves. He didn't know who she was, but after a few weeks it started bothering him more and more. One day, during a sparring session, Drake requested what looked to be the budding leader of this small group to be his sparring partner, roughly about the same age as he was. Everyone was a bit shocked as he was the one who initiated the challenge instead of waiting till the teacher selected him as he normally didn't pick. Nobody else knew why, as Drake wasn't really the talkative type, but Drake really throttled the young werewolf. Even when the guy tried transforming, it didn't help him. Drake, not being the fastest person though faster than a human at his size, decided to meet him head to head. They locked for a moment before Drake overpowered him, picked him up, and slammed him against the ground. As soon as the guy tried to stand, Drake planted a heavy boot to the guy's chest which sent him rolling out of the ring, losing the match. He was humiliated and from then on chose not to spar with Drake. Drake felt a bit of satisfaction with his work and let a bit of a toothy grin show on his face. The fighting didn't stop there, however. To be honest, Drake was having a bit of fun putting people in their place. From time to time he would feel he werewolf side try to emerge, usually when a fight was taking longer than expected, but he fought the urge, ending his fights as fast as possible so that he wouldn't give in. This kind of thing seemed to go on for the rest of the month. One time Drake was so irritated with somebody that he drug the person to the training room to fight, because fighting anywhere else would be considered against the rules. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior didn't paint him in the best of light, and some students started to feel like Drake himself was a bully. He really couldn't care less, though, and just went about his own business otherwise. His antics did earn him the nickname 'lone wolf', which he assumed probably wasn't a necessarily good thing coming from werewolves, but he kinda liked the ring to it.
(present) Drake woke up at the ever early time of 3 0' clock in the afternoon. He was getting ready for his normal routine to go to the gym when he kinda noticed that he felt...irritated for some reason. His brows came together in thought as he was brushing his teeth, trying to think about what in the world could be bothering him already. After rinsing, he kinda just stared in the mirror, lost in thought. "Nope, can't think of anything in particular," he said to himself as he shrugged the thought away. He walked over to his window and lifted the black out curtain to let some light in, and instantly saw his problem. Out in the clear blue sky, sat a full moon. "Dammit," he shouted as he pulled the curtain back down. He had completely forgotten when the next full moon was. This would mean he was going to have to spend a night in one of the cells losing his mind. He sighed as he got dressed. May as well make use of what time he had. On his way to the training room, Drake heard someone playing a cello. I sounded nice and relaxing so he decided to check it out. When he got there, he noticed he was at staircase, with whoever was playing being just below him. Instead of coming down to great the person, he instead just sat on the step and listened for a while. He wasn't sure who was playing, but it was pleasant and nearly cleared his mind from the thoughts of the full moon coming tonight. He waited there until it seemed to be over, just taking in the music. When Drake noticed it was had stopped playing he got up to leave, but one of his feet slipped on the edge of a step. This made a bit of noise, and he hoped that he didn't startle the person. Instead of sticking around, he headed for the training room. Drake felt right at home at the gym in the training room. A couple people left at the sight of him, although Drake didn't seem to mind. Instead, after changing into gym shorts and a tank top, he started doing stretches and some cardio to loosen the muscles before he started. He saw another werewolf there, bench pressing like a madman. After Drake was done, he found a bench press himself, and put some weights on it, about 1.5 tons on each side to start out with. If there was one thing Drake liked about his transformation, it was definitely the strength increase. he would have never guessed that he would be able to say that he started his workout routine benching 3 tons. The fact that these weights were the size of a few regular 50lbs weights alone baffled him. Unlike Daniil, Drake did his reps slow and steady as this was still pretty heavy. Throughout his session, he would slowly work his way up to as close as 4 tons he could get. He hasn't quite reached it yet, at least not consistently enough to do a full set, but he was working on it. He never tried lifting weights in werewolf form, though he did often wonder what changes that would make. After a decent number of reps, he set the bar down to catch his breath before doing another set.
