Perhaps she thought being a magic of the aquatic persuasion she could help with the hailstorm that they had been caught in the middle of. What she did know is that she instantly regretted it as soon as she stumbled from the stairwell that went downward into the belly of the old airship. Sania was not a conventionally brave person and she definitely was no engineer, but when she convinced herself to help someone there was no anxious doubts that could make her stumble back like a coward. Though, in this instance, she realized her foolishness and how much she wished she could run away. Every single piece of hail that struck the ship was a time she wanted to push her eyelids shut and hope to the gods that she would be okay. But she knew Ull’Mona was out here, all alone, and might have needed help. This is so stupid. I should have stayed inside or gotten others to come help. Why did I venture outside? She tugged on the hood of her raincoat and took a deep breath. Her mind constantly uttered one simple phrase: I am a mage. I control frost and water. I am not afraid. Her mind was obviously lying, because she was pretty sure her heart was going to explode any minute. Despite her fear she pushed herself through the storm, trying to focus and make her way to Mona. Even if she couldn’t do something. She could help. Somehow. Right? “Mona! It’s S-Sania! Do you need a-any h-h-help?!” Sania hoped that Mona could hear her through the storm, but the jittery young mage forced herself forward. It was probably a strange thing to hear in a dangerous hailstorm, but Sania was a helpful member of the Cloud Chasers despite her lack of nerve. But she had promised in recent months to be braver and take more initiative; to act more like how she saw Adelyn, one of the newer members of the chasers that she had taken a liking to. With this in mind she took a deep breath as she began challenging her magic in case she needed to manipulate the hail to not pummel her to oblivion. Though Sania was still Sania. That much was easy to tell as she jumped to the side, narrowly missing a large piece of hail. A loud ‘eep’ escaped her voice as she did so.
