It was hard to tell if its pupils were moving at all, tracing to the centaur’s aimed and readied bow. It was hard to tell anything of it really, when it held no emotion on its facial features; in fact, it had no features at all. All that stared back was a fish-like blob, not even flinching towards Duncan’s weapon or words. And then the spider girl spoke, voice hissed in a high-pitch to the creature. The aquatic being actually blinked once, wet slaps heard as it did so. It was still impossible to tell what it was looking at but by the sudden shift beneath the water, something was going to happen. That something was raising a long, spindly blue limb right out of the water for Sonia to see. Moving like molasses, it slowly, slowly began to move that arm….until it was pointing at Sonia. Specifically, the area behind her. Whatever that was supposed to mean, it had apparently triggered something because the water behind the group bubbled violently. Rising as a wave of living sewer water, the construct began to immediately shower down onto Tholl and Sonia. It was acting with an unusual strength, as if it were the water itself. If that was the case, this other creature wasn’t at fault. Strange certainly, but not to blame for the troubles caused. In any case, the living wave continued to slam into both spider girls, intent to either crush them under the water’s weight and pressure or just drown them like bugs.
