 It's the year 2068, the future we've all predicted has come true. Flying cars, holographic comunicators, and even the cure for cancer has been found. Things seemed to prosper for everyone, and world peace was near. Atleast, it was.

 One day, a world-wide war had broke out of nowhere, alarming those that weren't a part of the violence. Yet the bloodshed and destruction seemed to spread like a virus, bringing almost all parts of the worlds to it's knees, and leaving them desolate, empty.

 Yet, not all hope was lost. A city in New York, USA, had built a large barrier, cappable of locking the chaos away from those who were left. No one dared to try and cross it, less they had a deathwish, or were strong enough to survive.

 Months passed as a lone scientist, one Miranda J. Williams, watched the world war raged on. She had concluded that another force was behind all the bloodlust, and the recent crime rate in the city, but she couldn't face them alone.

 So she got together with the rest of the world's scientists, and began work on what will be known as Project: Phobia.
