Maybe Kaija knows something of who betrayed her, but keeps the information to herself in case she wants to use it as leverage someday? Also just so that you understand, marring an Ojih is like as horrific as carving a baby open. Like it's culturally a HUGE deal and any Azurei that saw her would straight up not know how to even interact with her. It'd be like speaking with a ghost, or someone with their head hanging halfway off. She should know what she's getting into :D She would also have a mark of treason on her Ojih--A bold black mark down the bridge of her nose.
