Secret Identity: Logan Cheung Status: Titan Age: 17 City: Gotham as of joining the Titans Day Job: He's a student almost all his time. He also works part time as a tour guide at the Gotham museum. Powers: Logan is a much more direct spell caster. The spells he mostly focuses on are mostly offensive. He uses a combination of hand movements to fire off these spells which mostly consist of energy, lightning and fire. Of course, they are all in the shape of ankhs or other Egyptian symbols. He is also able to summon the swords of order in dire situations. These are two khopesh style swords capable of cutting through most anything and to act as a conductor for his magic. He is also able to fly and cast various other spells. The spells he doesn't use often need a bit of help from the spell book given to him by Nabu, but nevertheless with the right time and effort he can perform them. Defense isn't really his thing, although he does know how to create a forcefield without strain he can't make it bigger than his forearms. Same with his telekinesis, if it's a lot bigger than what he can physically lift. With time this will change, but at the moment unless he hits the gym he wont be throughing dumbbells around. Although it's not really a power, the helmet of fate is nigh indestructible. It also protects him from any mind based attacks and retains his sanity. Weaknesses: Logan's body armour only protects him to a certain degree. It can take pistol fire, but Logan will still feel it and it can wind him if done enough. Furthermore, under this armour he is a regular old human. If he doesn't cast a shield in time or just plain misses if he tries to deflect a bullet with a shielded forearm then this could prove disastrous. Along with this, his offensive spells need specific hand gestures to activate. If his hands are tied he can't do most of them, and if his hands are rendered completely immobile he can't do any of them without seriously burning his throat from throwing a flaming ankh out of it. Skills: Logan is able to speak most forms of the Egyptian language since it's inception as well as English and Mandarin. He is skilled in swordplay, and has some hand-to-hand experience. Although, any experienced hand-to-hand fighter would most likely beat him unless he cast a spell here or there. He knows how to play two instruments. One which he freely admits to and the other he hides whenever he can. The first is the keyboard and the second is the accordion, something which his parents are extremely proud that he can play. Appearance: Faceclaim What does your hero look like [I’ll try and make micros for anybody who wants them] Logan is 5 foot 11 and has a lean, fit figure. He has dark black hair which he lazily gels up most days and has the makings of a beard as he can't be bothered to shave it properly unless a special occasion is coming up. His eyes are brown, but in the right light there are hints of hazel here or there. His costume, which appears on him as soon as he puts on his helmet, consists mainly of yellow and blue. He of course, has the signature helm of fate, but a few changes have been made to his canon outfit. He now wears an armoured jumpsuit and has a jacket, the inside of which seems to be an ever moving cosmos. It also can extend and retract it's coat tails depending on how Logan wants it, although in times of high magic use it may extend on it's own. The jacket also has a hood, which may seem useless considering his helmet but the sound of rain hitting metal right next to your ear isn't the nicest sound in the world so it does have it's uses. His mother was born in Edinburgh, Scotland while his father was born in China. The two met on an archaeological dig and a few years later got married and lived in Edinburgh, shortly after having Logan and raising him until he was a tween in Edinburgh. After that they got back into archaeology and began taking him on digs during his summer holidays. For years things were normal. Logan loved going on the digs and his favourite subject in school was history by far. It was only around the time Logan was 13 that things got strange. His family were on a dig in Egypt and happened across a strange golden helmet buried in the desert. They took it back to their hotel for further inspection. Logan woke up to complete blackness, and then blinding white. When he regained his vision he was in a desert, he walked for miles and miles before finally reaching his destination. Three giant thrones rose from the sand, the Lords of Order. In the middle was Nabu, Logan could hardly make out the other two or even make out what they were saying. Nabu told him of the power of the helm and the power within Logan. He taught him spells over the course of a month, teaching him how to read the ancient Egyptian that the spell book was written in and how to do very basic things like calling the helm or forming energy. He then told him the mission he was to pursue - to fight for order and justice as much as he could on Earth and to never allow chaos to prevail. He woke up at home. His parent's none the wiser. It seems life had gone as normal while he as training with Nabu. He took everything to heart and began practicing his magic in private for a year on end. He went on his first superhero outing at the age of 15. He did an amazing job cleaning up Edinburgh and some of the surrounding areas. So much so, that Police Scotland did an entire recruitment drive featuring Fate as their logo. However, things rapidly got more dangerous when his first encounter with another super happened. It was Wotan, an evil sorcerer who had taken the suburb of Currie under his mind control. Fate had to make his way through the suburb, lassoing the zombies using his magic and avoiding crowds. Eventually he made his way to Wotan and after an ensuing fight managed to incapacitate him. Unfortunately he had no idea what to do with the unconscious sorcerer, fortunately he didn't need to have an idea. As if it was fate, Batman appeared on the scene hardly saying a word to Fate, but zipping away with Wotan, presumably to deal with some grander scheme. He hardly said a thing to Fate, just a solitary "Good job." It was all Fate needed, he was ecstatic. A few years later and he was invited to join the Titans. He managed to work something out with Bats and got enrolled at Gotham Academy to further his education.

Logan is the son of a pair of Scottish and Chinese archaeologists. An archaeological dig uncovered a mysterious Egyptian helmet which found it's way to their son and promptly planted itself on his head. The helmet transported him to the Lords of Order, who taught him the basics of his powers within the space of a night and endowed him an almost never ending spellbook he was to study over the course of his life. He was sent to preserve order and justice on Earth and operated out of Edinburgh for a while before being contacted by Batman to join the Titans. He accepted, of course.
Story Arcs: Wotan and Klarion: Gruesome Twosome - Wotan is back. This time with Klarion in tow. They've managed to brainwash a large part of Gotham and have been wreaking havoc all over the place. It's up for Fate and co. to get to work. (Team - other spell casters would be ideal) A Disturbance in the Force - Someone has been tampering with order around Gotham. It's rained literal cats and dogs a few times, and water has stopped being wet more than once. This is surely a job for Fate to deal with. (Team-up) Parents Night - The parents have come to visit the Titans and boy is it embarrassing. Can Logan maintain some sense of dignity, or will his parents force him to play the accordion like all those times with his ex girlfriends? (Team Up - Titans only) Supporting Characters: Lords of Order Nabu Bao and Lynne Cheung Wotan Klarion Secondary Character: Additional Notes: Anything else you think we should know?
