“I know you are excited to run to bed, but come now, it is much too early.” She quipped, hoping that her flirtatious nature would cause her to drop her guard once again. She had noticed in the tavern that her remarks had made her step back in confusion before, so it seemed like a good idea to do here. Marina Watercrest was nobody’s doll to just drag as they pleased. Marina didn’t stop, unsure if her words would cause Terhikki to stop in her tracks or not. Really, she didn’t care. She moved forward, curious about the ship and its most peculiar name. She wondered what person would choose to name their ship after a skullfish of all things. But divers were most often an eccentric sort so she was sure it was likely due to an inane whim of a captain who thought it sounded “menacing” or “awe-inspiring”. Such a thought reminded her of the last ship she had been sponsored by. The Razorfish of Arne al Famar. A ship that was now at the bottom of the Imperial Sea. She nearly frowned at the thought, but decided to hold her composure. Never again, Marina. Never again.
