She didn't know how long she played. Her fingers seemed to dance over the strings in a soft melody only to crash into the chaos of rhythms that snaked and clawed through the air to ease again. She was at peace, Reena never really noticed the time when she played. She's been known to have let the entire day pass her by, from the sun to the moon the red head would let her world vanish in the sounds as her eyes slipped closed. Lips softly parted as if in a trance by her own magic. She didn't notice the sound, a note tripping off for a moment, but her mind didn't seem to fully register someone was there. Her hair frizzled slightly, and even then this seemed to be the only time the skittish student was free, in control and confident. Leaning into the cello as though it were an old friend. "Of course it's the vampire." Her fingers stopped. Grey eyes snapping open like a whip lash when she threw her head back. The fluid motion she once held was gone, replaced by the tense, rigid posture of the woman that tried to live day by day in the school. Her gaze fell on a pair that she's seen a few times, two males that held an imposing stance seeming to loom over her like a guillotine with their cold eyes. The smell of dog wafted to her noes, her hand clutching her bow as her shoulders started to shake, her head going lower as if she was trying to fold in half. The two had been known to give her a hard time. From stealing pens, to violently pushing or tripping her. She was actually scared of them and the males would drink it like wine. Before she hated bullies, but accepted when one shown up and knew it wouldn't be forever. Now they could kill her, the grin they held was enough to make her veins turn to ice when the taller of the two came forward. Short blond hair, and what looked to be a still healing noes. "So, vampire's a musician. Why you hiding here when you could play for everyone?" A simple question, yet enough to make her flinch, her throat locking when she opened her mouth, a choked gasp escaping her for a few moments. "Answer him!" Her silence infuriated the other man as he took a step to join his friend. Already she was looking for a way out, due to the moon most people were preparing for the night. "Why..W-why are you he-here....?" Why weren't they doing something to prep for their transformation? Why were they bothering her? There was no way around them, she was a vampire but in this space and against two she would be finished if she tried to run or fight. "P-please...I...I just wanted to...to be alone...." "Alone huh? Then you shouldn't have been stinking up the place." His hands were quick, prying the cello from her fingers as easily as one would pick a flower. A gut twisting sensation filled her, Reena felt her mouth go dry as her fingers twitched at the emptiness for a fraction of a second before her legs began to move. A desperate cry escaping her throat as she lunged herself at the male, "Give it back!" Her grasp on the cello, she aimed to fight dirty, her body trembling at the insanity it was committing only to feel herself go airborne when he hit her, the force so harsh it sent her, and the instrument flying back into the hall, taking out the chair and landing on the marble floor in a heap. Her breath coming in wheezy gasps as she clutched her chest, she's never been hit so hard before, her head was spinning as she slowly pulled herself up. This was not good, this was not good at all. She couldn't win, there was no chance at winning here. "Someone...Someone help, please!" Her pleas though, were answered in laughter from the others as they watched her fall in agony after only one hit.
