His headphones were full of the melodic sounds of yet another band that had lost their peak popularity in 2010. He'd amped it so loud that the tinny sound of bass could be heard if you stood close enough to him. He found that music made the morning go by faster, especially when he was practically dancing through his morning routine. His hair brushing had been turned into a minature concert that made him glad that his roommate had a habit of leaving earlier in the morning. He'd dressed himself with a kind of flair, choosing things that reflected his good mood. Though it was hard to style goth around happy, he managed it the best that he could. He had chosen a much cheekier shirt than usual. It was all black (of course) with a white graphic plastered across the front. He opted not to wear his coat for once, pairing his graphic shirt off with black skinny jeans and a spiked bracelet. He didn't feel the need to try to conceal his marking, no one could see it except other people with markings. He was trying to appreciate it in all of it's glory now, he was really embracing it. If he got used to it enough then maybe he'd consider getting it actually tattooed in, that was sure to piss his mom off. After he was dressed, he stood in front of his mirror for a good few minutes, ruffling his hair until it began to look effortlessly messy. He even took an extra moment to tweak one strand a bit, pushing it back a little but not too much. He had to look disheveled but not like he was putting effort into being disheveled or like he had just slept on his hair. There was an art to this. It was just as pretentious as it sounded. He had been feeling so amiable that he had even dropped a text off to Hagan.
To: Hagan
Hey, there's some kind of support group for the camp massacre kiddos. I figure that you should come, it might help us get vital evidence on these marks.

He had messaged Hagan after his talk with Rita yesterday, he hadn't disclosed the nature of her powers but he had confirmed that she shared the marking. To be honest, texting Hagan kind of made him anxious. It wasn't that he was afraid of Hagan anymore, their chat had wiped that fear out, but Hagan was still a lot cooler than him. Heteronormative assholes were hard to get along with but that didn't stop him from trying. He didn't know what had drawn him to the support club, just that he was mad with curiousity. If he, Hagan, and Rita had all developed their markings after the tragedy at Camp Terrible then that meant that the others that attended could have as well. He was going to keep an eye out for anything interesting and try not think too much about his actual trauma. The only thing that really mattered was the mystery of these markings. He entered the conference room, pushing his headphones down so that they rested at his neck. He paused his music and raised his hand in awkward greeting to the other college students that sparsely filled the room. He realized a bit too late that it might have been a bad day to wear a shirt that said he wasn't dead yet. Great. Nice one, Martin. He chose the seat next to Rita, feeling just a bit more awkward than he had a moment ago. Though, he was grateful that he and Rita had settled their issues. Their movie date had gone splendidly and he had even bought them dinner, he figured that she could use it especially if she was running as dry with money as she had stated. He also just liked to eat at restaurants, it was a win win. "I'm glad you decided to show up to this fun fest too." he said, smiling at her. Aliana hadn't shown up much later than Martin, though she was dressed a lot more considerate. There was destined to be a lot of kids here that were still coping with the things that had happened and decent human beings didn't wear whatever that was to a trauma meeting. Her mood wasn't half as jovial as his and she was exhausted. She'd spent most of last night worrying about the things that had happened during the day. These powers weren't normal and-the goth kid had a marking, smack on the side of his neck. She had almost been hoping that she wouldn't see any more markings, that maybe it was just her, Lynette, Penny, and Nathan. Unfortunately that didn't make much sense and now there was glaring proof of it. She settled down beside Penny, just in time to hear her outburst at Britney. She liked Britney, which was the one thing that Penny seemed to disagree with her on. Britney had been the first person to welcome her to Farmer Hill, she'd just been some bruised up kid from Key West then. She hadn't expected anyone to be kind to her, and Britney had. She definitely didn't want Penny to barate her throughout the entire talk time. "Penny, try to let her talk."
