The plane had taken off and still no one had bothered the ninja, so he felt like he was in the clear and the person who had bought the seat had not made it. And then he heard it suddenly… “Move, worm.” Veritas turned his head to see just who was speaking to him, and the moment his eyes glared at the face of the man from the terminal, the man suddenly had a deep conversation within his soul. Within Veritas’s soul room stood the primary “spirit”, which was the combination of Josh and Gren, two halves of a whole that lived separate from each other for eons. But these two forces were still very much their own selves as well, and would regularly communicate whenever a conflict happened. Josh was the “good” side of the spirit, while Gren was the “evil” side. And they would often conflict with each other on how to deal with any particular altercation. Such as this case where the two transparent halves spoke behind the main body. ”Did…did he just call me a worm?” ”Hey now…maybe he just misspoke and it didn’t come out right. Maybe Common isn’t his first language.” ”No no no…this is strike three. First, he sat down directly in our view. And then…he was utterly annoying. Now, he insults us.” The pale version pushed the smiling one out of the way. ”I’m gonna take care of this.” The entire thing within the soul room happened in less than a second, and the ninja had soon stood up to stand eye to chest with the wide man. This didn’t intimidate the smaller shinobi, though, as he looked down into the man's eyes. “Make. Me.” And with some added malice to the words, he added a bit of spit with his third. “Bitch.”
