I was actually thinking that the car my char would have access to would originally belong to one of the parents or an older sibling. That way, they wouldn't have to fork out money for the initial purchase itself and [i]especially[/i] for the insurance.

But yeah, I'll still keep to something sensible. I'm sure no-one would want to give up their NSX's or their Ferraris anyway, least of all to a high schooler who could easily crash it into a tree or something entirely by accident...
