Lady Eve observed the goings on with interest from her dark corner of the room, highly invested in the progression of events. It did not take long for fingers to begin pointing. It would be interesting to see how everything went from here, to be sure. Alonzo took everything in stride, stoically sitting through the initial questioning of Erin, and only giving Elizabeth the briefest of glances to acknowledge her own accusation. He took a second to gauge the rest of the room, then nodded. "You are both correct. I can easily produce the answer, and I do not fit in here. I had hoped to observe each of you longer before revealing the answer so anticlimactically. However..." The scarred man reached forward from his seat, hand outstretched like a claw. He moved it downward, as though scraping the air itself. With the motion came a tear in space, a black void that bled what could only be described as wispy smoke. His hand reached in, and pulled back out. No sooner had Alonzo's hand left the tear did it heal itself. And yet something about that space, that portion of the room, it just felt... Off. And off was how one could describe the contents Alonzo had produced from the void. He held in his hand a large jar, filled with green fluid. But it was not the fluid which was most jarring (mind the pun) but the object suspended within: a full sized human brain. Pristine, carefully removed from the head of some unfortunate soul. He placed the jar gingerly upon the coffee table, then met with the eyes of everyone once again. "I am out of place because I am vastly more experienced. A warlock for hire, a sort of magical mercenary if you will. This is not my first time around the block." My Gift allows me to peer into your hearts and know your deepest, darkest secrets. Your whole lives laid bare, as I read your memories like a book. The last bit was not vocalized, his lips completely static, and yet all others in the room could plainly hear him speaking so clearly. How was that? "Yes, I have read your minds, and thus I know exactly who the plant is. Or, to be more specific, I know who the plants are. It would seem this test was setup as a trick question, and our kind host has left two moles within the group. You," he pointed casually toward Mallaidh, "have been too preoccupied with looking out of place and uncomfortable. The act is too strong. And you," he once again pointed, this time at Erin, "are using a simple telekinesis masked as a dousing spell, which you used to cast suspicion off of yourself immediately." Alonzo turned his head to Lady Eve, nodding her head quite impressed. "Shall I kill them?" he asked as casually as one might ask for the time of day. Lady Eve shook her head. "No. There will be no death tonight."
