Powers: 
[b]Prototype Slipstream Suit:[/b] Xane’s suit harness an unseen force of kinetic energy in order to propel the wearer at dazzling speeds. The full capabilities of the suit have yet to be seen as the human mind can’t interpret and react fast enough to use the suit to it’s full potential. The suit also provides a frictionless field around the wearer to protect against the nature troubles of traveling at high speeds along with some general body protection in case of high-speed crashes.

Weaknesses: 
[b]Bullets and Knives and Bears, Oh My!:[/b] Under the moderate armour of the suit, Xane is still just as vulnerable as the next guy and suffers from motion sickness on the regular due to the high speeds his body endures. His mind is also a weakness as he has to really pan his movements in the suit carefully or risk running straight into a wall at mach 2.
[b]Undisciplined:[/b] Xane doesn’t have a very long attention span and as such, learning to properly fight hasn’t come easy to him. He relies too much on his suit to get through a fight at the moment.

Skills: 
[b]Adaptive:[/b] Xane isn’t the smartest guy but that means he rarely gets stuck trying to make a plan work. His method of constant trial and error allows him to be a little less predictable that a more methodical combatant.
[b]Mental Math:[/b] With all that speed and no way to accurately comprehend it, Xane has gotten pretty good at timing his speed and how far he goes after how long. Before a dash he’ll normally do a quick calculation about how long to run for in order to ensure he doesn’t bash into anything he doesn’t want to. While he isn’t great at the more complex aspects of math, Xane is a whiz when it comes to quick and basic calculations.

BRIEF Bio: 
Xane Swift had been a deadbeat all his life, mooching off his parents and expecting everything in the world to be given to him on a silver platter. This mentality landed him in a situation of no escape where he was being cut off from his parent’s funds and getting kicked out of college for his poor attendance and grades. As things went downhill Xane was contacted by a sect of criminals known as the Reapers who offered him a way to make quick cash by going even quicker. The Reapers supplied Xane with a suit that granted him superspeed and they told him to commit a string of robberies. Xane managed to accomplish his task, narrowly avoiding capture at the hands of Batman who eventually ended up busting the Reapers and leaving Xane with a super-weapon and without a purpose.

The speedster tried to keep up the robberies to keep himself going but after about a month of close run ins with the Batman and the ever increasing amount of vigilantes in Gotham, Xane decided to lie low and get a real job while his reputation died down. Working in the glamorous field of gas station attendee was boring work but Xane would rather be stuck behind a counter than behind bars any day of the week. This were going alright until Xane was held up at gunpoint and robbed while running the store. Not one to take a mugging lying down, Xane suited up that night and broke the nose of the crook and a few of his friends as they were proceeding to jump a family. Naturally Xane pocketed the recovered gas money but word from that family began to spread and the bank robbing speedster from a month ago was now turning over a new leaf. 

Originally Xane paid the rumours no mind but the positive praise from some began to work at his ego and soon Xane was going out patrolling the streets and stopping all manner of petty crimes, all the while narrowly avoiding any of the other vigilantes of the city. Xane’s not sure if the hero thing will stick but the thrill of being a good guy feels much better than the thrill of a ten second heist.


Story Arcs: 
[b]Get Ahead with V9!:[/b] Xane’s stint of being uniquely fast has come to an abrupt end as a new drug hits the streets of Gotham. Velocity-9 is doing for every thug in Gotham what the Slipstream suit did for Xane. Now Xane has to make a made dash to get the drug off the street by making his way straight to the top before the drug goes into mass production. Can Xane figure out who’s producing the drug? More importantly, is he fast enough to stop them? Find out in... [i]Get Ahead with V9![/i] (Team-up)

[b]Gotham’s Flash Freeze:[/b] Mr.Freeze is back in action after a brief stint of staying under the bat’s radar. Now Freeze and his goons are on the offensive, taking over pockets of Gotham’s industrial district and slowly turning the city into a winter wasteland. Not wanting to see his home turn into an iceberg, Xane covers up and treks into the heart of the storm in an attempt to liberate Gotham from a second ice age. [b]A Dash to the Past:[/b] Having found some mysterious ruins under Gotham city, Xane investigates as he finds some unsettling scenes depicted in the stone carvings, eventually leading him to a confrontation with a new foe and a realization that will shake him to the core.
