[@drewccapp] great attempt, but seeing as Gale's comment was directed at Izzy who is on the machine behind her (so Elliot can't possibly hear it), they are in the air while Elliot is on the ground, Gale is two seconds away from skewering the Kith boy, and the waves crashing and griffins screeching are quite loud, his attempt will probably go unheard and unfinished. :(

Edit: for Elliot, Golde and Ifor, in case my post is written in s confusing way (I know I try to be dramatic and lose clarity in the process haha):

Suddenly a flying machine appears in the air above, dropping a net on the Griffin beside Ifor and Golde. The same machine bolts fast toward the second Griffin near the obelisk. The second Griffin takes out the machine while two more machines arrive high in the sky. These two attack the second Griffin. One more machine flies in, carrying Gale and Izzy (it's dark so they probably only look like shadows), high overhead. They're talking but you can't hear anything but the engines, screeching, waves crashing, and they're too high/far away. They dive suddenly, and Gale is about to throw a spear at the boy. The boy and girl do not seem concerned or afraid, but pull down their hoods in preparation for something.
