Since the dawn of time Elementals have always been a part of the nature of things, from being called monsters for their sub element, to being called godly for being able to use every element but one at a time.

Then the ones that were "the ungifted" had their envy set in and spread lies and fear among the people using accidents from untrained Elementals to consider their abilities to be dangerous and something that should be destroyed by the ones without power; years ago there use to be a safe haven for Elementals.

A place that accepted their kind a community that would aid Elementals from all walks of life and from every corner of the globe with deep pockets and allies that would go out of their way to help their own kind but then it abruptly vanished from the face of the planet with no hints of where it could have gone or where it could be now. 

There also use to be a school for Elementals as well, located by only a few for those who wished to hone their element and shape it as their own; The school itself was gargantuan, with dormitories that could host nearly 700 people at any given time, with a main tower that reached all the way into the sky, it was the dream school for all Elementals with areas that aided their respected elements; where it is, is a secret to most to keep it's safety at this time.

Today, Elementals from all over struggle with their powers and even more so to fit in or hide their element from others to seem normal and powerless while some of the stronger ones fight back against normal people to get even with them on some strange level, while others have gone their own way segregating themselves from normal people all together, one monarchy has done such.

The Silva royal family, a family of powerful ice Elementals claimed their own land near the frozen regions of Antarctica; like many of the other Elementals they too have had their share of trouble from normal people, despite their location they still have issues with normals attacking them and attempting to assassinate members of their royal family.

Shocking most, a member of the Silva royal family had a romeo and juliet-esque relationship with the son of a normal monarchy that had no Elementals; once the relationship had been revealed, the fathers of both families instead of feuding decided to try fix the relationship between Elementals and normal people, so the two fathers worked together to arrange the marriage between their children and use them to usher in an age of harmony. 

Once the wedding was announced publicly the two monarchs prepared for the wedding with the Silva monarch sending his daughter off to be with her future husband; in about six months invitations were sent out to both Elementals and "Ungifted" within the upper class, along with invitations being sent to celebrities and even some other monarchies to come to the wedding feeling as if it would be an earth shaking event that would need to be covered by everyone. 

Kris being a member of the royal family and getting an invitation was one of few people to be forced to go as everyone else had something else planned at the time, but since Kris was the only one to go she decided that she's gonna bring as many of her friends as she wants besides the normal plus one on the invitation. Along with an evil plan she had brewing up for her sister she figured she'd crash the party with her entourage and embarrass her sister in front of the world before she gets married off to her new hubby. 

So after a long flight and train ride to the mainland and getting everyone together, Kris got her road party together and with a big new car she was ready to make her journey to ruin her sister's wedding with her buddies either obvious of her plan or Unsure of what reason Kris has to invite them. As they get ready to hit the road through Stendhal to the kingdom, a landmass created by hundreds of Elementals for the future monarchy.

While the group's journey is just starting, rumors of something big soon happening have been going around, small settlements of both Elementals and normal people being burned to the ground, Elementals going missing from their homes in the middle of the night and dynamic shifts of power happening in certain countries that were formerly stable; it almost seems like a world wide coup is about to happen.

For now thought, there is a royal wedding to head to in a few days that either needs to be crashed or enjoyed with celebs and monarchs cool food and entertainment waiting, so for now it's best to enjoy the ride there and hopefully everything will be smooth sailing.
