Yeah, we'll be counting stars.

PROLOGUE: Seven's 3-Day Perspective
5.00pm UTC+8/Friday; July 29, 2011 - University of the Philippines Cebu High School Brgy. Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines "Minna-san, dōkyūsei-tachi (Japanese/ja: Everyone, my classmates)... Salamat kaayo kanimo sa tanan (Cebuano/ceb: Thank you very much to all of you)... I can't thank you guys enough for giving me this...kind of an advanced birthday gift, as I did not prepare and expect for this event at all, I mean, LOOK AT ME!!!" It was just like any other day today. Except that right now, I'm wearing nothing but my black and purple swim jammers (and I'm wearing nothing under it). And I'm in front of a crowd. Should I be embarrassed right now, I have no idea. But I kept it cool, and soon after I made my short 'speech', I laughed along with them as everyone else did besides their applause, cheers and wolf whistles. Compared to back in Sendai, I was not given this much attention as an honor student. Is it because I was bullied back then before I got active and fit, or maybe because Filipinos have a high regard for respect, be it their fellow countrymen or a foreigner...? Regardless, I can live with this. "Seven, ima ie ni kaeru jikan (ja: time to go home now)!" And Dad's here (calling me out with a megaphone, no less...but I don't even know anymore) to pick me up now, don't wanna miss another cheat day Friday... We're not exactly going home just yet, he's giving me a treat to some frozen yogurt place downtown, and more. And later he's the only one who'll get a lecture and beating (mostly wrestling moves) from Mom, obviously. 7.00am UTC+8/Saturday; July 30, 2011 - NanaZuika Sugbu Beach Resort - Guests' Lounge Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines "Seven-kun...-sama, you have no appointments today besides your daily routines, should I tell your parents with this?" "It's OK, don't trouble yourself. Why not join my classmates with their beach volleyball game? And dress down just like the guests, please. All staff have to just get chill with work in this place..." Yesterday, after the froyo (then a burger dinner) date with Dad, we next watched a movie on the last full show by late night. He apparently has a man-crush (but he's NOT gay!) for Chris Evans, so it was 'Captain America: The First Avenger' at our go-to mall, SM City Cebu. I didn't complain at all since I'm getting into the Marvel Cinematic Universe myself since 'Iron Man' three years ago. Oh, and if you're wondering who's that beach resort staff, it's my first best friend Chiaki Matsuno-kun. He personally decided to take some time off from his 'family business' duties and take him in to work with us here at the beach resort. He insisted on the body pillow he brought with him to be kept in his locker and away from the lounge for obvious reasons. Why am I friends with him (and vouched for him to work at the NanaZuika) again? One great day coming up, then... 2.00pm UTC+8/Sunday; July 31, 2011 - NanaZuika Sugbu Beach Resort - Hamada Residence (NanaZuika Big Cabana) Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines Inside my room after lunch I closed the blinds, locked the door and stripped naked. Not only it is hot, but also, this was the only available time I have, all to myself. Let's see... Last cheat day Friday was the culture convergence event-slash-advanced birthday party and date with Dad, then yesterday was the tag-along at work with Chiaki-kun to see what he's doing. It has only been two months since I began high school, and I have lots of stuff that I need to do to keep me sane besides working out and swim: Do some coding, catch up on some anime, anything...! Prodigious... It was now nearing 7.00pm. Call me lazy, a sloth, even. But I am anime trash myself. Netflix is a double-edged sword to me since. "Seven-sama? Dinner is ready." "Chiaki-kun, is that you?" "Hai!, Seven-sama!" "Hold on, will be with you in a minute!" Welp, time to get back out there and get dressed: Open red plaid shirt with gray stripes. Board shorts with stripes of red, green and purple. Device 'Switch' in right hand, black-framed (except the top) glasses lock-folded in the shirt pocket. Just another big Sunday all-nighter luau at the beach resort tonight...

The DigiDestined.
