They had been so caught up in the fact that they were now forced to survive on an alien world that they had yet to learn each other's name. "Natsumi, what about you?" Natsumi asked, approaching the boy to help him with his gear. As with any survival gear, it was important that you were wearing it correctly, lest a dangerous mistake happened. Affixing the various belts and attachments to their proper place, Natsumi made sure to do a double take with some of the more important features. Twisting the valve that controlled the oxygen flow open, Natsumi waited until the boy gave her the all clear that it was working before helping him pull the rebreather over his face so that he would be able to breathe when they dived. Once Natsumi had the all clear, she stepped back, and took a good look at herself and him. With the gear on, they looked more like machines, rather than humans (or so Natsumi thought). She figured it mainly had to do with their size, being that both of them were more lean-looking than bulky, but Natsumi decided it would be best not to say anything. The boy seemed to be afraid of having to enter the water, and Natsumi wasn't keen on frightening the only living human likely for miles if she wanted to eventually escape this watery planet. "So, are we ready?" Natsumi asked, her voice muffled behind the rebreather, as she knelt downwards to open the hatch below.
Unknown Location, Planet 4546B SHALL WE?
"There is the option to make a repair tool for general use, but I do not have the materials." Rafael spoke with an almost dreading tone, as if he was bothered by this simple fact. Amari, too, was just as easily bothered by this--likely having to venture out deep into the great blue to find materials--yet she was just as confused by her comrade's sudden shift in tone. One moment Rafael would be frowning, and then the next moment, smiling. With the constant mood shift, Amari felt herself unable to help, unsure of what to do. Should she get ready to collect materials? Search the lifepod for anything to help them? Thankfully, Rafael answered her own question for Amari. Looking around the small lifepod for anything that could possibly help their situation, Amari found an emergency locker nearby, and begun searching. "Let's see... diving gear, medkit... flares... Two sets of meals and water for us, perhaps more if we ration it." Amari spoke, turning her attention back to Rafael. "No repair tool or anything else. We'll have to make them ourselves." Standing back up from the locker, Amari grabbed one of the sets of diving gear. If they were going to do anything, it might as well be now. The nutrient blocks and their bottled water wasn't going to last them forever, therefore they should at least see what they could find nearby. "So, we should probably get to searching, huh?" Amari smiled rather innocently, despite the grim situation the two were now forced in to by having to survive on a hostile alien world. It wasn't like they were on the top of the food chain anymore, that is.
