Eddie woke the next morning with a groan. He smacked his clock to turn of the alarm before groggily sliding out of bed. Before he had a chance to go anywhere, though, Beak flew out from behind his hiding spot in Eddie's dresser. The teenager jumped before remembering the previous day. "Morning, Beek." he yawned, patting the Kwami on his tiny head. Beek lazily flew over to Eddie's pillow, waiting for his friend to return. It was almost an hour later when Eddie ran in to finish getting ready for school. Beek, seeing a creme egg slide in Eddie's hood, flew as quick as he could to begin eating. Eddie knew what time he had to leave to catch Tonya. He ran to catch up to her. "Morning." he smiled. He tried hard to hide his attraction towards her. He thought she only saw him as a friend or classmate. Still, it was a chance to get to know her and he would take what he could get. "Did you have trouble with the math homework?" he asked as he slowed to walk with her.
