While his father was a grunt on the ground with a rifle in his hand, Leo found himself captivated by the vast array of vehicles deployed by the federation. When reaching the legal age to join the military, he decided to aim as high as he could, literally. He became a pilot and immediately showcased a rare natural talent for piloting. In the various tests he was required to take he displayed reaction times faster than any that had come before him. This is what led him to the next stage of his life. While he was technically an actively serving member of the military, Leo spent most of his time in research bases rather than on deployment. This was down to the higher ranking officers wanting to utilise his unique skillsets to develop more capable and reactive dog fighters. With the advent of mechs he was kept in the same role, operating as a research test pilot but also being placed into active combat. In addition Zeus is capable of detecting incoming fire.[/indent] [b][sub]Arms[/sub][/b] [indent][color=fff200]☢[/color] M141-X Scythe [colour=crimson]|[/colour] A newly developed semi-automatic rifle built for sole use by the Reaper. The Scythe is a 60mm Railgun and the smaller brother of the 150mm Railguns used by the FAW-016. It is more energy efficient than the 150mm due to housing an in built power core which means it doesn't need to be directly connected to the mech's power core. It is capable of damaging mechs of all sizes but continuing research means it still isn't perfected. If fired too frequently the power core will burn out rendering the weapon useless. When transforming into flight mode, the Scythe runs the length of the aircraft's underside.[/indent] [b][sub]Shoulders[/sub][/b] [indent][color=fff200]☢[/color] Automated Point Defence Launchers [colour=crimson]|[/colour] On a 270[sup]o[/sup] pivot, these launchers detect incoming missiles and fire charges to intercept and destroy incoming missiles and rockets. Linked to Zeus who has total control.[/indent] [b][sub]Torso[/sub][/b] [indent][color=fff200]☢[/color] Thermal Emission Dampeners [colour=crimson]|[/colour] Specialised coolers reduce the heat signature given off by the Reaper. It is exceptionally difficult to lock onto with heat seeking missiles and thermal imaging is almost useless. [color=fff200]☢[/color] ARC Paint [colour=crimson]|[/colour] The mech is painted in a specialised anti-radar camouflage paint. While not one hundred percent effective at hiding the Reaper from radar, it does make it disappear intermittently. This with it's speed makes it very difficult to accurately track. [color=fff200]☢[/color] HITS [colour=crimson]|[/colour] Standing for High Intensity Thermal Sword, HITS is stowed in the back of Reaper. It is capable of cutting through the thickest of mech armour seen to this point. The downside is obviously needing to be close enough to an enemy mech to use it. [color=fff200]☢[/color] AT-MML [colour=crimson]|[/colour] The AT-MML is a weapon within the chest cavity of the Reaper that launches four large missiles. Mid-flight these missiles break apart and release a swarm of twenty micromissiles. While incapable of causing any significant damage to a mech, they are lethal to aircraft and armoured vehicles alike. The AT-MML is linked directly to Zeus but requires launch input from the pilot.[/indent] [b][colour=crimson]Weakness[/colour][/b] [indent][color=fff200]☢[/color] The AT-MML limits the amount of anti-mech missiles that can be loaded into the Reaper to four.
