He never did enjoy being carried in these marvelous machines, he'd much rather travel with more natural means, down a stream or on the back of an animal, sadly, Tapo knew full well there was no animal in the world that could keep up with these hovercrafts of Sunagakure design. He hated Amegakure. Not because it always rained - he found that rather refreshing, and he quite enjoyed the more rural areas of the land, but the city - the capital itself was awful. The smog in the air clogged his lungs, it stung in his nose and his eyes and it put him in one really sour mood. He pulled his brown hood up over his face as he walked across the landing pad, waving off the greeting crew. Tapo had made his own accomidations for the brief, at an apartment complex in a small, crammed dorm room, far less spatious than the hotel rooms that were on offer. But, the apartment had a greenhouse on the roof - an area where Tapo could put in his earbuds, meditate and read his books. He had packed his own food for the next couple of days, before the brief and if it wasn't for the public appearances, protocol and such, he'd rather have stayed home till right before the brief. He wouldn't go outside or make contact with anyone, only moving from the greenhouse to his bed for the next day and a half. He had done a perimeter sweep before heading in for the brief - not that he was working security but it was a hazard of his way of living. And, he in general didn't trust any of the shinobi from the other nations. A frown was painted on his pale face as he sat down a row further to the front of the rest of his squad - next to his old sensei. Captain Hensei Uchiha, the chief officer of Konoha Intelligence in Amegakure and his immediate superior. "Tapo, my boy. You're off duty, you don't have to be watching your back like that." Hensei told him with a soft, yet stern smile. "Perceptive as always, Captain." Tapo conceded with a short bow and a pleasant smile. "It's an occupational hazard, am afraid. How are we looking on security? These situations usually bring trouble with them." Tapo said, sitting down next to Hensei as the Sunagakure jonin was getting ready for the briefing, the room filling up and the brief would start in just a minute. "Iwagakure patriots caused a barfight last night, butted heads with some of the Mist Mercenaries. We've had a couple duels go down, a few personal squabbles. Noone died. I do appreciate that in these young peace times." Hensei said, his crows feet showing, he brushed his greying black hair out of his face, as he turned his attention to the main stage, listening in on the briefing. He had already gotten his advance copy of the intel, but paid attention out of respect. "You had best turn around, Tapo, or your new teammates might think you are not present."Hensei told Tapo once the brief came to a close, Tapo smiled and nodded in appreciation. He stood up and walked out of the row once it cleared out, getting closer to the group of three. "I would be number four. I'm Tapo Hanabiro. Nice to meet you three." He said formally, again nodding politely.
