Backstory:
Ade started as a guardsman for the lands of a wealthy merchant, and although the work was tedious and boring he found that being with a sort of brotherhood was good for him, especially when one particular fellow guard started teaching him the basics of smithing and armour-making. Although he never thought of himself as a smith, he found that he liked the acrid atmosphere and the hard work and sweat needed to make armour, and the skill needed with a hammer. However much his love grew however, he still had responsibilities to the Merchant and guarding his lands, but when the man died of a sudden heart attack  he saw it as an opportunity to go to the a new land they called Khoyee; he gathered whatever wealth he made from his crude armours and his time as a guard and hired a ship.
