Having assembled the team Dawn had to essentially learn first hand what herding cats was all about.  He was proud, but then, little by little things took a turn for the weird.

First, Shift made her appearance, something Dawn would have been right happy with since it would be their second time to try and hang out.  Then-  the cat.  Suddenly there just had to be a cat in the mix which caused Shift to summarily flee.  Dawn, being always of sunny disposition, could neither blame Onyx or Shift for what happened.  So instead Dawn called out after her.  [color=gold]"We're supposed to run around the track!  Around it!"[/color]  He tried calling after her with cupped hands over his mouth.  He then stroked his chin.  [color=gold]"Hmm, maybe she is going the long way."[/color]  He stuck his thumb up with a big smile. [color=gold]"Good thinking!"[/color]  

And then Victory.  AGAIN!  Another hero he would have thoroughly enjoyed to train, sweat, and encourage in the activities of sportmanship.  [color=gold]"Greetings Victory!"[/color]  He grinned happily with a wave.  Then Victory chased after Shift, leaving the room.  [color=gold]"Goodbye Victory!"[/color]  He grinned happily with a wave, a slight twitch in his eye.

And finally Silas left, after being attacked by Decibel.  Detecting Silas' reaction.  Dawn did mildly come to his compatriot's rescue.  Maybe only slightly.  [color=gold]"Decibel, give the man some air, and bring all that energy down here!"[/color]  She finally did let them go, and he could see a very scared Silas taking his cue to exit.  Dawn pouted his lips before he raised a thumbs up and a smile.  As if to say, [color=gold][i]Don't worry, there's always next time.  I got you bro.[/i][/color] he made sure to get all the attention on him, he nodded and took one of the bots.  [color=gold]"Alright, I guess we can start with the fun first.  What level Decibel- four, f-?"[/color]  There was a maximum 10 levels and while he wanted to push them, he didn't want them to get hurt either.

Then he had a bit of good news, from two places.

For once, Yatzil had shown up, her lithe form approaching the group and offering her hand.  And it looked like she was ready for a go.  Dawn turned on the dime, seeming thrilled.  [color=gold]"Yatzil!   Aren't you a glorious site to behold!?"[/color]  He made a fist pump.  [color=gold]"Sorry you missed the action earlier.  Just some robots.  Big heaping piles of GARBAGE before our unbeatable might!  Figured we celebrate a little bit by getting a celebratory work out in!  Thankfully we got the fun ones here so it's all we need!"[/color]  He threw his head back.  [color=gold]"Decibel wants to take on a rust bucket, so I suggest we get a nice big three way bout of unbridled JUSTICE between you, me and Blizzkreig here!  Free for all!"[/color]  He pounds his fist and looks to be ready for action.  [color=gold]"What do you say?  Last person standing gets favors from the other two!  Get that blood really boiling."[/color]  He was flexing by how excited he was.  Adrenaline pumping, sparks of fire coming off of his arms, the gold from his fists growing over his forearms and biceps as he got into a mutai martial art fighting style-

And then, came the voice of excitment.

Jane had made her way, offering a thumbs up just like he did.  Dawn's determination and fighting poise wavered as he looked near his feet at his fellow comrade at arms.  [color=gold]"Alkaline you made it!"[/color]  He smiled, his teeth shining as he returned the thumbs up.  He then looked up and put a fist in his hand.  [color=gold]"This might be the best time-"[/color]  Dawn turned back to Yatzil.  [color=gold]"I apologize my fellow heroes, but I have been developing a training program for Alkaline that I need to mentor her on."[/color]  He made a motion as if moving glasses up his nose, he didnt have any.  In fact he did a lot of over the top movements as he attempted to show how cool and proud of himself that he was.  [color=gold]"Ladies and gentlemen.  I [i]PHOENIX DAWN![/i]  Have studied for days through over a thousand books!"[/color]  No one knew if he read any... [color=gold] I have developed the perfect routine to make Alkaline, our Alkaline, the GREATEST of SUPERHEROES!  

When I am done, NO EVIL CAN HIDE!  NO FOE CAN RUN!  NO VILLAIN WILL ESCAPE HER JUSTICE![/color]  He spread his arms and flexed with all the might in his massive form as he address Alkaline.  [color=gold]"ARE YOU READY!?"[/color]  He asked, his face full of rage and conviction and RIGHTEOUS FURY!

He then simply held his hand out into the air.  She'd have to stretch up 6 feet!  [color=gold]"Touch my hand!"[/color]
