Michael Angie
Michael took out a can of the self-heating coffee, examining it from top to bottom. Michael wasn't even aware that such a thing existed, and was curious to see how it worked. The instructions were simple enough, and Michael managed to get the cans open and ready to drink without any problems. He handed one to Alexander before taking a swig from his own. Admittedly, Michael didn't like coffee. The bitterness usually kept him away from it, but if he was going to go through another adventure, he wasn't going to be picky about his energy sources. The coffee was warm, but there were also traces of cold within it. It seemed like the heating of the coffee wasn't even. Michael figured that such a device wasn't perfect, but again, he wasn't going to be picky. Michael nodded occasionally at Alexander's story of his life, listening but not really paying attention. He tuned in when William became the topic. "I wouldn't say King is an alien, but he's certainly eccentric," Michael remarked. "As for threats greater than the Ancient Evil... I wouldn't be surprised. Something's gotta be out there in the world." "Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about William," Michael reassured Alexander. "The kid's got the means and the intellect to make things happen; he just needs a step in the right direction to make the best use of them." Michael took another swig of his coffee, making a sour face upon tasting the bitterness. "Or maybe I'm just comparing him to myself. Take it for what you will."
