Personality: Raucous and unruly, the 'younger' fraternal twin brother of Thor Austerbrow. It is the ambitions of the elder brother in their developing years that developed the blackened spirit of the younger sibling as they chose to be the opposite of nearly everything that the older brother was. A wild spirit unrestrained by the belief of right and wrong, Raiden is a believer in the chaotic element of life to the fullest. 

Wildly talented as a rising artist, Raiden creates murals of blackest sin on any canvas he can find as he seeks to show the world a true reflection of its own ugly features hidden just below the colorful surface. It is for this reason he has been called something of a perfectionist when it comes to his displays, sinking literal days of his life in seclusion as he churns out dozens of failed attempts before achieving his vision come to life. 
His artistic demands do not merely extend to cans of paint or colorful ink. A tinkerer of functional machines, Raiden is one of the many souls responsible for the protected electronics capable of operating under the obvious stress of his element. 

On his own, the younger brother is destructive. Impulsive. Prone to speaking out of line and ignoring consequences of his actions as every and any tender moment he is witness too is inevitably ruined at his hands by some obscene gesture or another.
With his brother in tow, however, Raiden is reserved. Contemplative. 'Colors within the lines' as he often refers to it, choosing not to bring down the reputation of Thor by association at inappropriate times. This isn't to say that his manners are perfect though; Once an animal, always an animal. 

History: Born and raised alongside his brother, Raiden was always the most hyperactive of the two. Thor was prone to doing things that got results, Raiden was the type to do as he felt. Barely ten years of age he displayed a tenacity few but his parents could ever hope to match, eventually channeling his erratic energy into creativity. Illustrations, doodles, writing, painting, dismantling the various machinery. Anything that kept his hands busy had kept his mind focused on the task.

In their later years the brothers showed impressive skill in the mastery of their element. Raiden in particular had success blending his 'style' into the way he used his own element. Call it a phase but the younger brother was prone to dark clothes, bright displays, and rollerblades. Like his artistry it became a habit to focus tremendous amounts of time into making them who he was, even when forced into a fight. 
Upon graduation he attended a techmental college and began his work developing electric overcharge resistant machinery, years later perfecting them to feed on the sheer electric current he pumped into his designs to increase its functions.

This led to the Austerbrow brothers mechanized rollerblades, high grade steel and conductive metals fashioned into functional footwear with a built in motor fed entirely on the electric current both brothers had. With a surge of electricity the wheels spin at a higher velocity. Tinkering on them to improve the design is still a hobby, but its become a labor or love to improve rather than a requirement. Both pairs are works of art designed exclusively for them, after all.

While Thor works tirelessly to bring justice where it needs to be brought, Raiden has dedicated himself to roaming where he sees fit and causing as much trouble as he can, returning home to hide and wait while plotting the next journey. At the moment he is merely tagging along with Thor on his trip.
