And then after all that your daughter might get kidnapped by your former demigod allies and then you'd have to get so angry you use your six arms to ORA ORA ORA ORA everyone in existence and fight your superbuff old master on the Moon while kickass orchestral music plays.

Possibly, though I believe mind flayers are considered pretty threatening in most appearances. So it might take a while to work up to them.
