"Wait, isn't your sister still down there?" she heard Rurik ask.

"Oh? Her? Don't worry about her. She's one tough girl, you know. She'll take care of herself just fine," Christine replied with a smile.

But in the end, Rurik decided they should go down there in the end.

"Ah, that's a good idea!" Christine said to Rurik's plan. "That means we can go down with minimal risk! We can just go out immediately if things go south!"

She looked back towards the hole in the ground. [i]I sure hope Katherine is okay...[/i] Even though she said she believed in her sister's strength, which she did, she couldn't help but feel a little worried for her at the same time.
