The red-haired rogue knew the room was trouble as soon as they set into it though she was not at all expecting slime of all things. As a well-traveled adventurer and dungeon-delver in the world of Pariah Online, Rael was more than familiar with slimes, oozes, and all the like-minded types of monsters. Sometimes, like in this case, they were augmented by elemental enchantments. She gritted her teeth as she jumped forward, sweeping her spear across a line as a flush of wind followed her swiping motion, pushing back an assortment of the slimes that seemed to be endlessly coming from the “moats” they had filled only moments prior. She could hear her group behind her. There was no doubt that the support-types were trying to go through their strategies to try to ensure nobody lost their lives to the slimes that were trying to overtake them. Dying to a slime? Forever? That was more embarrassing than dying in a “video game”. Her ears caught Ailanthus screaming out to the pervy idiot, though she knew that if she broke her current footing there would be a lot more slime upon the group. It was her and Graves’ job to keep the line, after all. Someone else would have to act in their stead. That was when she heard the crackle of a fireball. The fire mage, Redsky, was probably dealing with the frost slime that had been spotted and then-some. Honestly, Redsky was probably the best weapon the group had against a flood of frost slimes. Frost tended to melt into oblivion when fire was involved.
