Unlike the main continuity of the series, Departure looks to adjust certain aspects of the Pokemon universe for personal preference and optimization. Adults tend to not be as carefree about letting their children go off on their own at an adolescent age, choosing instead to give them right to do as they wish and explore the world of Pokemon after they become the age of majority which in this case would be in the 16-18 bracket. This is for a variety of reasons, but mostly for story purposes. Naturally, since this is an intimate invite-only affair, applications will be closed unless the participating parties feel comfortable in incorporating additional player characters. The plot follows the journey of three youths who wish to be the best in their respective fields as they push forward. For some reason, these three teenagers have found themselves venturing to the continental region of Kanto, where Viridian City is holding its annual festival to celebrate the corremoration of the great forest that bears the city's name. As with every year, the end of the festival is indicated by the first full moon of the spring season. But sometimes mischief likes to rear its head during the festival. After all, it is a very large forest.

Established Divergent Lore in Setting

To Be Determined.
