Now let us be away to the ship and to the medical bay so that might have a look at that legs of yours. In a purely professional manner of course," the dapper man said with a broad and reassuring grin as he helped Mei to the ship and awaited for the doors of the main cargo bay to be opened. Anisa had finished her little speech, one Atticus had heard before. Well not exactly, this one was actually a lot friendlier than the one he had gotten when he first came aboard the ship. His included something about having no problem letting Dorothy filet him out on a table and be dissected while still breathing. That wasn't exactly something he had to worry about anymore. At least he hoped not but who knew with the heathens. Once the doors were unlocked Atticus quickly made his way into the ship and headed towards his new bunk. He hadn't had much a a chance to double check his things before so he would take a moment to do that, plus he had bibles to get and hand out. The life of a Shepard. "Yeah, I have a decent stash," Anisa said towards Harper. "Food in the galley, get cleaned up and back into normal life," she said in general before making her way into the ship as well. Into the cargo bay area, up the stairs, and such until she was on the upper deck and in her quarters. The door closing swiftly behind her. As much as she loved being dolled up it was good to be back in their new home. It would take some getting used to but since this was a Firefly class type ship, it wouldn't take long. Hopefully this would be a new beginning for all of them. Jahosafat followed Anisa into the ship, helping Mei as he went. "Just a little father lady and I will be able to put the tap back into your toes," he said as he remained on the lower deck. He was rather thankful that the infirmary was on the entering deck and he didn't have to help Mei climb several sets of stairs. Not that that would have been a problem but still, it would be easier on her to not have to lift her leg with each step they took that high. It was better this way. Though thinking on it perhaps it would be a good idea to keep a folded gurney or wheelchair by the main cargo bays doors, in case something like this happened again - having wounded that was. It probably would. Atticus made his way up the stairs and made a break for his personal quarters. He did like the set up of his new ship Oh sure it wasn't as homey as their previous one but it was good and since the layout wasn't completely different it was simple enough to find ones way around. Granted he hadn't had problems on the alliance vessel either but then again, he had once been alliance. So there was that. Sitting down on the edge of his bed he lit of a cigarette and took a few puffs before locking it between his teeth. Reaching under his bed he pulled out a small box and pulled out several Gideon Bibles, for the new comers. One couldn't forget to do their duties as a preacher, especially now that his vices had been taken care of for the evening. Anisa would have smacked Atticus had she known what he was up to right then, not that that would have stopped him. It didn't stop him but leaving a bible in her quarters every so often. Yet she wasn't exactly thinking about that right then. She was changing and getting herself back into Captain mode. That mode never really was turned off but it had been at least to a degree at the Lady Luck. Right then though, she couldn't not be in full captain mode. Dorothy needed to assign the new comers quarters. (Which is listed out in the original ooc now with updated rooms.) It was something Jackson would have done if he were still alive but she didn't let herself think on that. Time for mourning him was over, at least outwardly. Jahosafat made his way into the infirmary and over to one of the medical tables. "Let us just get you on the table and I will get scrubbed up," he said, letting the floweriness of his speech fade a bit for now. Once Mei was up he turned and took off his coat and hat, laying them gently over the back of a chair and began to roll his sleeves up. As he washed and scrubbed up he asked her how she felt, how she was holding up, how much blood she had lost to start, and so forth plus if she had any medical history he should know of so he didn't inadvertently give her something she was allergic to.
