This includes creating impromptu weapons and shields from ice, and the ability to manipulate it. She’s usually able to pull enough moisture from the surrounding air and ground to fund her magic. Her magic becomes more potent the more humid it is, peaking in the rain and bottoming out in droughts. Cryogenic Stasis: With a snap of her fingers and a flash of light, Célestine flash freezes someone from the waist down. While frozen, the victim is immobile, though can still attack anyone that gets close enough. Cryotherapy: A soothing cold settles over, patching up the smaller wounds sustained in battle and setting the larger ones up to heal properly. Célestine can heal the smaller wounds of allies and keep larger ones from taking them out of the fight. It’s especially potent on her Servant, able to stitch anything short of dismemberment or organ removal back together. Permafrost: By definition, permafrost is soil that’s continuously frozen throughout the year. While Célestine doesn’t specifically adhere to this, she’s capable of creating frozen patches on the ground that are incredibly slippery. When stepped on, they effectively turn someone’s agility against them and render them a laughingstock should they slip and fall. Blizzard: A rolling storm enters the field, causing a whiteout and chilling anyone unprepared to the bones. Célestine creates a blizzard, drastically reducing the temperature and visibility.
________________________________________________________________________***_____________ Other Abilities:
Seamstress: Célestine learned how to sew from her mother, thus she can mend clothing given she has the time. In combination with her Cryomancy, she can enchant individual threads if she has even more time and the drive to. Natural Psychologist: Thanks to her varied experiences in life, Célestine is capable of discerning what people are thinking based on their current mood, their facial expressions, and how they carry themselves. It isn’t reading minds, it recognizing very general patterns. Fencer: Before her family moved to America, Célestine had been enrolled in fencing classes. She remembers much of what she was taught, however she is a little out of practice.
________________________________________________________________________***_____________ Mystic Codes/ Magical Items:
Cryomancer’s Coat: Célestine’s coat has been made by her own hand, and in making it she accounted for how cold her magic can get. It’s enchanted to preserve warmth and provide total protection from her own magic, keeping her from accidently stabbing herself with a shard of ice.
________________________________________________________________________***_____________ Weapons/ Other Belongings:
Satchel: A much more fashionable backpack that she’s too proud to call a handbag. Personal effects, money, and a spare set of clothes are contained within. Rapier: A pointy sword meant for stabbing things. Célestine is quite skilled with it, but she isn’t about to run into a battlefield with it drawn and nothing else.
________________________________________________________________________***_____________ Personality:
Célestine contains a strange mix of French xenophobia and American xenophilia, allowing her pride to get in the way of many things except how she views other humans. She recognizes that every human is an individual, though has no problem generalizing groups and applying stereotypes. Once she knows someone well, the stereotypes fall away as quickly as they came.
Background:
The Belmonte Family has always had icy veins, quite literally. Cryomancy ran in their blood, and careful efforts to protect this lineage were taken, the sons and daughters of the bloodline were intentionally married off to other mages with an affinity for ice magic for as long as the record books could show. However, when a Holy Grail War broke out in France, half the family fled to America, and the other half stayed. One year later, Célestine Belmonte was born in Versailles, France. She was raised watching a Holy Grail War, and even told by her father that she would have her own Grail to fight for one day. She grew up preparing for it, honing her magic as often as possible. At the age of 16, her family moved to America to reunite with the half that was already there. There, Célestine developed a rebellious streak and dropped some of her practice, saying another war was impossible at this point. While this made her father upset, he couldn’t deny that she was right about another war. The world had torn itself apart and lost almost an entire generation, it surely wouldn’t do so again. To everyone’s shock, word got out about another Grail in Germany. Despite her disagreements with her upbringing, she couldn’t deny that she was the best candidate to represent the Belmonte family. She packed her bags, said goodbye, and got on a ship back to her home country. She hoped that her pampering had been worth it now.
________________________________________________________________________***_____________ Wish/Reason for Being in the War:
Célestine simply wants to prove to her family that she’s able to hold her own in a war, especially one involving a Holy Grail.

True Name:
Charles Vane
Aliases:
N/A
Class:
Archer
Gender:
Male
Height:
5’10” - 178cm
Weight:
176lbs. - 80kg
Alignment:
Chaotic Evil
Wish for the Grail:
To take revenge on everyone that’s ever wronged him, especially Jack Rackham.
Personality:
Even for a pirate, Archer is a brutal man. He thinks like a true predator and carefully picks his fights, never entering a conflict he can’t win and escaping once victory becomes impossible. He avoids serious risks that would put him and his crew in mortal danger at all costs. He harbors a deep-seeded hatred for cowards and the disloyal, to the point where he’s shot deserters in the back as they’ve turned to leave. He’s usually the first to jump to a violent solution.
Backstory:
Archer’s past is a checkered mix of rebellion against government and unrestrained chaotic action. Very little is known of his early life, though it’s known he was born somewhere in England in 1680, and with his birth, Hell was unleashed upon the seas. Sometime around 1716, he took to them and made them his own, his flagship the Ranger terrorizing the West Indies for years. Archer’s notoriety earned him a place alongside the nautical legends that founded the pirate republic of Nassau, and with it came tales of his own exploits. A fireship to save their idea of freedom, daring escapes from better armed ships, and even stealing eight ships straight from Charleston’s harbor. It came to an abrupt end, however, as Calico Jack Rackham labelled him a coward and mutineed him. Following a long streak of misfortune, which involved getting caught in a hurricane and discovered by a British sailor that happened to recognize him, Archer was hanged in Port Royal, Jamaica. His corpse was hung from a tree on Gun Cay as a warning to any other pirates who dared defy the Royal Crown.
Stats:
Strength - D Endurance - C Agility - B Magical Energy - C Luck - D Noble Phantasm - A+
Class Skills:
Independant Action B - Archer is able to exist independently from his master for up to two days, given he’s conserving what magical energy he has. He still needs his master on hand to make use of his Noble Phantasms. Voyager of the Storm C - As a pirate captain in the twilight of his life, Archer is an experienced sailor. He’s able to sail any vessel that’s classified as a ship with relative ease. This skill grants the effects of Charisma and Military Tactics of two ranks lower (Rank E).
Personal Skills:
Marauder EX - Archer always lived on the edge and made his own rules wherever he went. When confronted with being a servant, he simply refused to be commanded unless his values aligned with his master’s. Archer is able to refuse commands given through the use of a Command Seal, however he gains double the normal bonuses when one is burned for something he desires. Steady Hands B - Archer’s aim has only improved while acting as a Servant, allowing him to utilize guns with disturbing accuracy. Servants with Luck and/or Agility Rank B or lower are much more likely to be hit while Archer is firing upon them with a firearm. Clairvoyance C: Archer’s vision has been enhanced beyond normal means, rendering him a much more capable marksman than most. He’s able to take better aim and hit targets more reliably from long distances, and survey large areas at once for enemies.
Combat Capabilities:
Archer values efficiency over everything else, after all, what’s the point of waiting to loot the body? He prefers to keep his distance for as long as possible though will sooner use his gun as a club than turn and flee if he can still win. While he’s a great shot, he can still hold his own in a melee.
Noble Phantasms:
Name: Broadside Rank: A Type: Anti-Army/Anti-Unit With a mighty bang and the smell of gunpowder, the 20 cannons of the Ranger come forth and open fire on the battlefield. Archer is able to summon the cannons on any flat surface in sight, even directly behind someone for an impromptu sneak attack. Anyone caught in the path of the cannons take heavy damage and gets stunned for a short while, unless they have the Agility or Luck to dodge or be missed, respectively. Name: Fireship Rank: A+ Type: Anti-Army From parts unknown comes a piece of history. The French ship set ablaze by Archer to break the British blockade of Nassau comes back once again, this time to bring carnage to the battlefield. Wherever she crashes and explodes, she deals lethal damage and sets the surrounding area on fire. The debris left behind has the potential to fall on and crush whatever it may hit. At Archer's command, she can be used to punch holes in the fabric of reality for brief periods of time.
