His remark about the birds preventing anyone from looking for wards wasn’t wrong, though. If they just stood around waiting and swatting birds all day long hoping for the goddess above to save them they were going to end up as bird food. But instead of getting around to a solution, a mere stranger was barking at her to go save the blonde woman instead. As she thought for a split second she considered her options. Her swordplay was no doubt valuable in this kind of situation but at the same time without her magic readily available she was very limited in the capacity of her efforts. But then again, if the only competent person died from giant demon birds than she was pretty much fucked. “Fine. Get out of my way, moron.” She groaned audibly in protest and annoyance as she pushed him out of her way as she pushed forward and headed for the blonde-haired woman that was fending off the demon birds in hopes to help out the fools who had not retreated in the first place. Pythia wasn’t particularly happy about the idea of drawing Judas when all of her magical enchantments to hide its appearance were ineffective. Any inquisitor or scholar would see the blade in all of its glory and realize what weapon she was exactly wielding. A famed imperial weapon that had only touched the hands of the Kings and Queens of Iquenos. So Pythia figured out the best alternative to doing just that. Her fingers unlatched the leather bondings that kept the sheath attached to her belt. As another bird began to fly downward towards the blonde and the idiot she recognized from the car who said he was “after inquisitors” Pythia jumped forward swinging the sheath upward with more strength than it appeared she was capable of – cracking its beak in the process and making it fall downward into the nearest railing before tumbling off the side. “Tch. What the hell are you morons doing out here? Do you just have a need to die by giant demon birds or something?”
