A Little Spider on a Big Adventure
That's the Gobbledygook? From far above came the little spider, approaching just as close as he could from the cobwebs to make his descent, the walls of wood and interwoven roots. Easy to climb for a spinster, and merely just to get a closer look. His mum told him of the creatures of the Tangle as she was a fan of the stories the merchant tailors would bring to his corner of the cobwebs and Little Ozzy thought he knew them all by now. He already knew that a bunch of the kings men would be here, scoping the scene, finding the clues. They would search high and low, but no one could search higher than Ozzy. As they all came, all departed, all of them weeping or worried about the fate of the Tangle and the fate of those encased in stone, Ozzy had a feeling of strange hope inside of him as he saw the frozen beautiful form of the Gobbledygook. He was a fan of stories, and in every story, the beautiful things always had a happy ending. Ozzy wondered why the stories were never about the spinsters. He figured that they were clever enough to never get into trouble, and no one would want to here a story like that. That'd be boring. Still, the tree tops of the gardens weaved too and fro and high above the ground. Ozzy approached, descending, his legs and feet always finding the right spot as he got closer. Eventually he was almost over it, but a few dozen feet or so, thats hardly even a problem for him. He set to work, his silk spinneret kicking into gear as he placed it on a line. He wanted to go right over it. Maybe the clue was on top of the Gobbledygook. He betted no one would look atop it. And if there wasn't something up there, atleast he could see it up close. Creeping down, down, lower, lower, he saw a woman in a hood, then an old man, and finally, gasp! A fairy!? Wow such wonderful creatures were all here! But there were statues here too... maybe it wasnt a safe place to be, maybe he should *Snap* Maybe Ozzy wasn't as light as he though. He realized for a moment that descent had become a fall and there was an awful "YIIPPPPEEE!!!" as the spider fell into a bush with an awful rustle. His yarn and clothes and hats and socks, they were everywhere as his basket topple on it side in the clearing. Some lay where they fell, a shoe there, some jeans there, even a little cute stitched and stuffed bear landed at the robes of Lady Leaza. Other articles of clothing glided down gracefully as if ribbons in the air, almost floating with a ballet's poise, much more than their eight legged owner. The spider emerged from the bush, his hats over his eyes. "Maybe perhaps I should have spoken, maybe that branch would not have broken." Clearing his vision and gathering his ties, and jackets, and skirts, he noticed that he may have perhaps caused a commotion. His big eyes blinked for a moment. He raised a hand, mitten upon it. "Good afternoon." He says with a smile most inviting.
