[@tobiax] He's probably the default nicest person in the group, both in terms of manners and just general outlook. He lacks the irritating traits of some of the others (Though like Alex, his worst trait is more of an annoyance than anything: His apologies are similar in mind to Alex's needy nature.) Compared to the others, I'd also say he's probably the most in-touch with his crest. While he did 'shut down' as it was described in the bio, it doesn't point out his politeness or apologetic nature changing. The fight that changed him also leaves some things to thought: Including why that last blow was so harsh. One thought I had was that while he was trying to be polite, and fair to his opponent, he started getting pushed back. Since he is competitive, the blow was probably a panic move; With him trying to ensure in that moment that the victory was his, and not his opponent's. If that was how things went down, then there's things that make it more clear why he might not be as in-touch with his crest as he appears on the outside; Being overshadowed or proven to be below someone else are some things he might deeply not accept, but doesn't want to ever reveal openly because he truly does wish to be nice to others. I only had these thoughts as they kind of cross over with Mori and his boxing; He takes it seriously and wishes to be the best, while lacking the kinder outside appearance Kyosuke has. Kyosuke had friends and accepted others while he trained, while Mori does it alone. It's actually a good look at why Mori's methods don't work perfectly, and reflects to how Kyosuke was the best of his dojo. Though it also appears he's suffered due to his outburst, and now he has a much harder time doing his best. I'd put my money on Kyosuke still not letting others win over him, however. If any of my observations were true in the slightest. This is all just me looking into what we have: Obviously it's not the definitive truth of the matter, I may be entirely wrong. But I see a man who's faults run deep and bubble inside him, rather than being exposed like the rest of the cast. EDIT: As for Go... I think he'll get along with Mori's partner quite well. Not much to observe from him, yet
