[indent] Punch! Kick! Sweep the leg! As soon as Brianna could walk, she was taught to punch and kick very soon after. Martial arts was a way of life for for the Chang family. Might not have been traditional, but as long some sort of martial art was being practiced, then that was all their ancestors could ask for. Her particular branch of the family was versed in TKD. Her parents are both black belts in TKD, leading to Brianna being very well trained in the martial art.

Middle school was the first time she encountered Sam Lassiter and Olivia Lee, which was the start of their very long history together. However, Brianna was often on the losing side whenever she was against them simply because they were just better. No matter how much work she put in, she was still often on the losing side. Brianna no longer considers it a rivalry since they are now teammates, following the logic  that iron sharpens iron.
