You're right. I could have handled this better, and I let my own priorities skew and ended up disappointing my players and prospective players and in the end, failing in my obligations as Game Master. I put off addressing your sheet in favour of other tasks, and that was wrong of me. I can only apologize, and hope that this doesn't colour your view of myself, this game, or the other players in it.

I like the 'magick deadzone' idea. I don't mind a blood mage, if done in the right way. I'm not even against the idea of a renegade splinter-group from the Barbed Church, which I think is what may have been going on in your bio. Retain some of those elements and recycle them into something we can build together from the ground up, or pitch a new character, or if I've (rightly) upset you - and I wouldn't be surprised - tell me to shove it right up my ass. All very viable responses.
