Hey Sedjwick! The last time we had a science officer type role it seemed to be very similar to the Doctor, but I'm sure if we lay out specific roles for said Science officer we could make it work! I do like the idea of the race you're creating, so if said science officer is there to record data from different planets or new species I think it could fit in XD
