His hair is kept in a simple short-back and sides and he keeps his features shaved and his skin clear of blemishes. George refuses to be see in anything other than what his tailor picks out for him every season and takes pride in his outward appearance. He carries himself with confidence and oozes with charm, contrary to his introverted personality, his voice is resonant and well maintained from years of elocution and the social bedlam of Britain’s nobility. He flaunts his wealth recklessly and appears in British newspapers at least twice a month for his infamous 24 hour benders and parties. To George Barclay anyone can be bought for the right price and has used his wealth to do just that, everywhere he goes he is flocked by his entourage of hype men, parasol holders, PR managers and photographers. He is sharp in a conversation and makes up for his playboy lifestyle with his contrasting politeness and charm, despite his decadent life George is a pleasure to be around if you can get him on his own while he's most vulnerable. But the truth of it all is that George hasn't been happy for a long time. The glitter that covers his every move is an elaborate pr campaign to keep the public attention away from the cynicism, the depression and the miserable life he leads. Behind closed doors there is a broken product of a time long forgotten by most in the superhero community. Years of combat in the armed forces and the subsequent period of hero hunting leave more than a mark on George, the drink and women distract him from the crippling depression and any time he gets alone he spends in his bed crying and fighting back the flashbacks of violence and the horrors he is all too familiar with. His mental state has been frayed by years of active duty for the role of 'Hero Killer', his reputation precedes him being both respected and feared by his peers. Over the years George has grown cynical of what good super powered beings can do and his displeasure only grows with each new assignment or kill mission given to him. When he becomes Slayer he is able to release the anguish, losing himself to the flow of combat and employing his powers to enhance his killers instinct. Backstory George Spencer Barclay was born into nobility and was groomed to become the Earl of Devon like his father before him, however, on his eighth birthday George was confined to his room after throwing a fuss over his gifts, upon rearing to discipline the boy his father walked in to a room empty of toys, furniture and even light fixtures. The whole ordeal was quickly hushed up and forgot about, god only knows what would happen if the country were to find that a member of it's extended royal family was a super powered individual, the PR scandal alone would be all to much for the Earl of Devon. At age 13 it happened again, George's mother had died of cace and during the funeral procession George broke down into tears while serving as his mother's pallbearer, the crowd and the media were shocked when they saw the coffin slip out of reality and through a portal of 'unknown origins', George's father quick removed him from the church and the funeral turned into a candle light memorial instead. George was sent away to the military at age 18, he had spent his teenage years living in solitude but he also discovered that the disappearing rooms and coffins were all a result of powers maturing within him as he grew. Now he was capable of opening full length portals into this mysterious dimension that he still fails to fully understand. George would use the dimension to safeguard objects most precious to him, his collection of pocket watches, the suits he bought from his holiday in Sicily and of course his mother's remains that he had tended to and placed deep within his own personal 'armoury'. Throughout his military career George was an exceptional soldier, coming into the rank of sergeant and commanding his own squad in active combat duty. George would use his powers from time to time to store supplies and weapons for his men, his powers were kept secret among his men but Births Intelligence had known about George for a long time and decided that his powers would be put to better use with them. At age 23 George was selected to join the British Army's newly founded spec Ops formation 'Galahad', an organisation created to combat super powered assets deployed by enemy forces, in short they were Hero Killers and carved a bloody reputation for the next twelve years. George adopted the callsign 'Slayer' and along with nine other super powered soldiers he has accomplished over fifty kill missions and compliance-based actions throughout the world, eventually other countries and organisations started their own Hero Killer formations and Galahad only drove themselves harder to become the top dogs in the super powered theatre of war. The years of warfare left its mark on George, several times he found himself on deaths door after being cast aside by super heroes and villains with powers that could be described ad godlike and otherworldly, George started to realise that the world had become more dangerous as more super powered individuals decided to take up the fight for justice which only prompted more super powered threats to come out of hiding. Slayer eventually grew to broken to continue his service and was discharged by Galahad with full honours ad a generous retirement package. He took up the mantle of a noble born playboy and buried the horrors of war deep within his mind. As the years passed the drinking became more destructive and the drugs more exotic with each hit, the legacy of being 'Slayer' had done its damage and George can no longer stand the pageantry of social life in London. Recently Slayer has moved from England to Suhona to once again take up his Hero Killer persona. He can no longer deny that his skills are desperately needed to cull the number of super powered threats in Suhona. He has hired a team of his former Galahad teammates to provide logistical support from the protection of his stately home in the California mountains, they keep the armoury restocked thanks to George gaining the ability to ope remote portals into his personal dimension and chase leads on super powered threats and acquire kill contracts from any who require his services. His methods put him at odds with the rest of the super hero community, but none can deny his skill in combat nor forget the many times he has executed a villains who are beyond the luxury of being incarcerated. Superpowers Slayer is able to access a pocket dimension known as ‘the armoury’ that contains his personal collection of arms and armour. Within this dimension are rooms filled to the brim with pistols, shotguns, swords, bows, helmets and shields ad every man-made weapon known to exist. The origins of the dimension are unknown to Slayer and his handlers at Galahad, he has been able of opening small tears into this world for as long as he can remember and has used the armoury to hide toys and other precious items throughout his younger years. Slayer need only imagine the weapon and he can open a rift into the appropriate section of the armoury, he can do this whilst in combat making him unpredictable due to his ability to combat the enemy with a sword before pulling out a sawed-off shotgun or worse. The armoury can also be accessed by certain member of MI6 who provide a steady flow of ammunition and manufactured small-arms for the armoury, Slayer himself is responsible for procuring the more exotic forms of weaponry that exist in the world. Slayer is also able to use the armoury as an emergency panic room when he is overwhelmed in battle, however, there is no atmosphere inside and Slayer's suit only comes with a limited supply of oxygen. Gadgets Within the armoury lies a near endless selection of weapons ranging from military grade firearms and artillery to exotic blades and polearms. Slayer has proficiency with most types of weaponry and will rarely use a weapon he is unfamiliar with. There are a few items within the armoury that are alien in origin or whose creation and placement are known to slayer, many a time he has found impossible sized war machines sitting dormant in the deepest reaches of the pocket dimension, but he chooses not to wake them without prior knowledge on how to operate such weaponry. Talents Martial Arts expert. Years of service within the military and as a glorified assassin has turned Georg's body into a weapon, being able to go toe-to-toe with even enhanced individuals and coming out of the fight in one piece. He is a master of a few martial arts but for the most part he improvises and attacks his target with precise strikes to vital areas before taking up a martial arts form. Weapon proficiency. Swords, spears, bows, pistols, shotguns, shields, artillery, you name it ad George has held and killed with it. The armoury is only stocked with weapons that George has mastered through years of combat, you won't find a weapon within his arsenal that he doesn't know how to kill with. He has developed his skills to the point that he can change from a combat knife to a warmer in seconds and still maintain a fluid combat form without hesitation. Shellshock. A curse that has it's benefits. During combat Slayer runs the risk of losing himself in a berserker state as a result of hallucinations from the battlefield. He becomes numb to the outside world and lives in his flashbacks, losing all sense of control and reason. Noble Family. Due to his heritage George has many contacts within the social elite of the world, being able to call upon the odd royal favour form time to time. Language. George is fluent in German, Italian, Frech and Mandarin and can hold a conversation in most other languages.
