Grant scowled, shaking his head at Vivi. "I really thought we were having a good time, why'd you have to go stab me like that?" He asked, dropping his cigarette. Before he would extinguish it, however, he looked at Vivi. "You're the last person I expected to ask about this." "I'm curious, sue me," Vivi replied, carefully putting out her own blunt. "I just can't picture the two of you in the same room alone, let alone actually living together." There was no protesting against Hurricane Marisol, as she swept into the Roselia household and quickly claimed their kingdom as her own. Gone was any form of solitude in his own home, replaced by a multitude of loud parties and a half-hearted attempt at a connection disguising her social media cookie-cutter life. He wanted nothing to do with her, but the more he resisted, the more attempts she made. She realized just how important Grant was to his father, so she tried to use every imaginable opportunity to rope him into some 'quality time'. Living with her was a nightmare in that sense, but he had been pleasantly surprised to see Reia hadn't followed in her mother's footsteps. Hell, Grant wished Marisol was more like Reia: she kept to herself, only interacted with him when they had to, and gave him his space. The only real nitpick he had was she kept asking for permission to get things, since it's her house, too, but that wasn't really fair for him to complain about. "It's alright," Came Grant's response after a few minutes of silence. Rolling her eyes, the girl leaned back on the wall, her eyes elsewhere, though she sniffed the air as she chose her words carefully. "I mean, good for you, but I also know you well enough to know you're full of shit," She replied, snapping her fingers at him. "Keep everything bottled up, and you're going to end up doing something stupid." "I'm serious, Reia's fine. I can barely tell she lives there, she's always either out or in her room," He said, shrugging. "Then why do you look like you were forced to drink someone's piss?" "Because I can't stand Marisol." "Marisol? Her mom?" Grant nodded at her question. "Unfortunate, but...hm," She paused, her mouth forming an 'o' as she watched their redheaded leader spot them through the window. "Aw, fuck, here she comes..." Grant followed her gaze, the pair watching as Aurora came through the classroom. It was a little too obvious what they were doing, considering all the smoke, though for a second he found it odd that it lingered for so long. "You knew what you signed up for when you joined the Council," He said. "I was drafted," She reminded him, her head tilting as they watched Aurora open the window, her hands on the windowsill with an annoyed expression. Her eyes watered, and she let out a cough, earning a laugh from the two. "Hey, Prez." Aurora shook her head at the pair, her expression one of pure disbelief. "It's the first day of class, and you're already violating the rules?!" She said, incredulous. "What the hell are people going to think if they see this?" "They'll wonder why we haven't given you any to unwind," Grant had a quip this time, though he walked over to Aurora. "None of the teachers are around this area 'til the bell rings, it's fine." "It's not fine, I could see the smoke from the entrance of the school!" Grant looked back at Vivi, who burst out laughing. Wait a second, why was there so much smoke? Vivi then stopped herself, sniffing the air. "Someone's burning something..." "How high are you?" Grant chuckled, though his expression dropped as he noticed the smoke around them. "Oh fuck--" Vivi looked behind her, the small fire crawling towards her. Grant immediately joined her in stomping it out, seeing as it wasn't too big. He looked at Aurora, who had ran back, though she returned with a bucket. Shit, that was fast. Vivi beat him to it, grabbing the bucket and splashing it onto the flames. They died out, thankfully, though Aurora's rather smug expression didn't help things. Vivi bit her lip, pointing behind Aurora, where an unimpressed Mrs. Berkley stood, apparently having watched the entire scene. "Good morning," Grant greeted her, clearly trying to save face. Shaking her head at the trio, Mrs. Berkley let out a sigh. "How disappointing...I expected better from our Council. You'll be certain I'll be informing Mr. Frederick of this incident." Aurora's face seemed to pale at her words. Clearing her throat, she quickly tried to mend the situation. "I promise, it isn't what it looks like," She started, though she was interrupted as Mrs. Berkley held up a hand to stop her. "That includes you as well, Miss Quill." Vivi and Grant looked at one another immediately. That was unexpected. "What? Wait, no--I don't--I was reprimanding them and taking care of the situation!" Aurora protested. "You can't assume I had anything to do with this without proof!" "Because she may be a goody-two-shoes, but she ain't no narc!" Vivi said, grinning. "Come on, Berkley, don't be a bitch about it." "The three of you will serve detention as a lesson," She stated sternly, peering at Aurora. "Let this be a lesson that rules are in place for a reason."
