Though, for the most part, they were fended off by the collective of Zestasia, lil red, and the rest of the funky bunch, it still didn’t seem to be enough to completely prevent the birds from coming at them. To add salt to the wound, someone had stepped forward that brought a certain kind of shock and horror to Zestasia’s face. Eyes tightened up, forehead wrinkled, and the subtle sounds of his perfect teeth grinding, creating a visible frown where a smile usually resided. This was prompted the moment he heard his older brother had stepped into view and Zestasia peeked behind his brother’s tall frame. There was an Inquisitor right in front of them. Zestasia felt an overwhelming anger consume. Everything in his body was telling him to be a little crazier than he had been previously. One of the few Inquisitors that he knew about was right in front of him. One of the few chances that Zestasia had come to be within arm’s length of the very people not only responsible for the destruction of his and Pagonia’s home village, Hellion and the death of his master, Anatoni Solis. Everything bad that happened in their lives and everything that led to this moment, Zestasia had to take this chance. Who knew when he would be afforded another chance to enact his revenge for his parents. For his friends that he grew up with as a child. For the innocent lives that were lost because of the tyrannical rule of the Inquisitors. Why wouldn’t Zestasia risk it all for justice? “But they need to pay. They need to--” When he had more or less made his decision, Zestasia’s eyes went around the others, specifically, he had his cerulean eyes locked on his brother. While Pagonia had always been strong-faced and always seemed to be in control of most of his emotions when it came to Zestasia, the blonde couldn’t help but notice just how afraid his brother was. While Zes was feeling nothing but anger and a desire to kill the people responsible for his prolonged strife, he saw the same intensity in Pagonia’s eyes; but it was of fear rather than anger. At that moment Zestasia saw that he understood what needed to be done. Though his anger wasn’t completely gone, Zestasia buried it under a facade of complete ignorance to exactly who the person in front of them was. “Fine, you win this round, bro. But what do we do?” Zestasia asked, doing all he could to avoid eye contact with the Inquisitor as Pagonia had intended to be the case in the first place.
