Mostly my own creation inspired by a multitude of animes and games. The Asterisk War, Chivalry of a Failed Knight, Irregular at Magic High School, 35th Test Platoon, etc etc. The most obvious one should be Asterisk War, seeing as that's where I had the concept of the Asterisk from (and plus I needed a name for the place, thought it could work as a pun since Asterisk = Asteroid).
