“So, I offer this medal of appreciation to Mrs. Angelica Harper, for her continue renewal in many of our historical buildings,” The Prime Minister of England announces on the podium. There is a roaring of applause from the crowd watching with enthusiasm. Angelica Harper steps to the podium with a medal around her neck. Though some lustful eyes will notice the metal is more or less laying across her ample breast.

“Thank you Prime Minister Oswen,” Angelica speaks into the microphone, her voice husky, deeper, though it hasn’t lost any sense of feminism, in fact many felt compelled to silence upon her first few words, “I greatly appreciate my efforts being acknowledged. However, there are more things I’d like to do for England and the greater area that is the United Kingdom. We have a crisis on our hands. A crisis the news sweeps under the rug and the people are paranoid of each other. We are English and the English have always thrived by uniting our strengths and differences, not tapering off from others like some unnamed countries do.”

There’s a slight chuckle from the crowd and small smile from Angelica on her face as she continues, “There’s individuals out there who have no place to stay or no place to call their home. And things are beginning. Strange things. Unexplained things that we cannot continue to cover up. Eventually someone will get hurt and it will hurt worse than any of the tragedies we have had to endure before. It’s why, with Mrs. Oswen permission I’d like to offer the city 742 and a half thousand pounds to buy the old firestation that’s getting no use in order to offer our New Breeds a place to stay for services to the city. I’d like to start an initiation that they act as a department of justice when our very own department of justice cannot deal with these events the New Breeds would be able to.”

There’s an odd silence that washes off the crowd, Prime Minister Oswen has turned pale all the color from her wrinkly skin has drained. Staring at the red haired Irish woman Angelica looks over at Oswen. No one has said anything and Mrs. Oswen hasn’t stepped forward.  Angelica impatiently waits, but there continues to be an awkward silence. No one says anything, it’s  like the world has been drained of noise at this point.

“Not convinced,” Angelica finally speaks, which snaps everyone out of their stun, she raises her hand, “If I have not convinced you then, I’d like to introduce you to a friend and a newfound business partner.”

Oswen looks nervous, her security step forward as a man with violet eyes appears from the shadows.

“Don’t worry, he’s only hear to speak, after all it is my day, isn’t it,” Angelica tells the crowd and Oswen at the same time.

Oswen nods her head and says, “Of course. I’ll allow it.”

The man steps forward towards the podium. No one is sure what to think. He wears a stern, stoic face, wooden and stiff it looks like he’s about to give off a stern lecturing to the crowd.

“Angelica presented this opportunity to me a few weeks ago,” he says, “My name is Viorel Fiachra. I am a New Breed. One of the many that are cast aside. I believe there is a fear that the New Breeds desire to prey upon those without powers. Though I assure you many seek acceptance. I have a small group of individuals behind me, who have no home. We have had to live on the edge in the countryside for a long time. This opportunity allows you to see us New Breeds as not separate from you, instead we are able to provide what you cannot.”
Man has not made a single twitch when speaking. Crowd just stares at him with fascination. He continues to stare ahead, as if looking at something in the distance. Though anyone observational will notice he’s looking at nothing in particular.

Some of the crowd claps. Someone clears their throat. Is the man going to do anything else? Say anything else. Angelica smiles acceptingly though at this Viorel.

“I think that went well, they seemed accepting,” Viorel tells Angelica, ignoring the sensationalized headlines blinking on the television next to him.

Angelica raises a brow, while inhaling from her smoke and then exhaling.

“You could have smiled more,” Angelica tells him.

“I literally do not have the facial muscles to smile,” Viorel replies. 

“We’ll just tape the corners of his mouth whenever he needs to do public speaking,” Lauren, a petite woman with brown hair says as she’s plugging information into a computer.

“I would not like the sensation of tape on my face though,” Viorel adds.

“At least this is the beginning of something,” Angelica retorts.

Seven years ago on this exact date, March 9th, 2010, started an initiation. An initiation today known as the London Hero Alliance, or LHA for short. In more recent industrial years more and more individuals born with unique abilities began to emerge. They were called New Breeds. Though there was never really any political view or political movement against or for the New Breeds. Many New Breeds chose to live in isolation, often due to an incident or fear of an incident occurring. This all changed with the actions pinned to one woman Angelica Beverly Harper. Angelica had been known as a wealthy individual in the England, London area for a long time. She was an architecture engineer, who turned into a restoration engineer over the years. Renewing old buildings to their previous states with modern safety in mind. During this time she discovered a group of individuals, not yet known as anything, guided by a man named Viorel who gave them a home in an old barn. Not satisfied with their living conditions, or the fact they are not recognized by an organization began her biggest restoral project yet. Getting the New Breeds more coverage.

On March 9th, 2010, during her ceremony upon receiving recognition for her restoral projects on buildings she made an announcement of New Breeds taking up residence in an old fire building no longer used by the City abandoned for the much newer more modern fire buildings around the city. This began the start of the London Hero Alliance.

As Angelica and Viorel put out a message that this would be a home for any New Breed. They would receive medical care, they would receive rights within the city itself. They would have a life known to them that would be better. Now on March 9th, 2017, nearly 20 individuals live in the fire station, under the guiding hand of Viorel, and some of the oldest members of the London Hero Alliance. Their duty to solve crimes the police otherwise cannot solve due to their threat level.

You are a member of LHA, whether you have been here for seven years or more or less, your duty is to solve mysterious crimes and stop the dark forces that prey upon the weak.

While this may not possibly be the most popular way of doing things, this RP will be utilizing a Tier System. There will be 10 Tiers in this RP that classify a New Breeds power level.  These Tiers are what the system use to determine a threat level of New Breeds. The Max Tier any current player can be in this RP is Tier 5 for now. There may be opportunities to learn and gain new powers. *It should be noted that a New Breed possess one branch of power. So if you’re a Telepath don’t also be given them super strength. Powers should kind of fit a theme of the type of character you want. I am writing the tiers as a generalization of what kind of powers you will find in these tiers. 

Tier 1: You’re practically human with something strange about you. Whether it being a savant skill. Or some kind of understanding the world in a way regular humans cannot. 

Tier 2: You’re more than an average human being. Albeit you’re still weaker than many of the higher tier breeds. These kind of abilities encompass supernatural physical abilities usually. Something like Enhanced Strength or Enhanced Endurance. Though we’re not talking Hulk levels of these. These often encompass basic capabilities that make you slightly above average.

Tier 3: This is where you start getting into the weird. Your powers are more supernatural. You may possess a strength level further than those in the tier 2  branch. Things like being able to stop family size sedans. This is also where you start to see strong mental powers. Such as telepathy and telekinesis. 

Tier 4: These individuals are often beyond human capabilities. They encompass more the weird, the wonderful. Stronger forms of telekinesis, telepathy, magic, etc. This is where the New Breeds stop being human and start being something beyond.

Tier 5: These are the unique. The weird. These abilities are often stronger and less common than their other counterparts. They encompass powers beyond the basic capabilities. Basically this is where things get out of the box from here. It should be noted that strength in this case means an increase in range or potency or capability of the individual. Not it’s literal strength, but general strength.

Tier 6: A New Breed at Tier 6 is no longer classified as human. Their abilities are often not something that can be measured in the scopes determinability that Tier 5 can be classified. These abilities are often unique and are not easily measured as “telepathy” or “kinesis”. This is Tier 5 elevated not only in its general strength, but it’s literal strength.

Tier 7: Upgraded Tier 6 and Tier 5. This is a further enhancement of those abilities presented in those individuals. 

Tier 8: Upgraded Tier 6, 7, and 5. Nothing of significance more efficiency, more potency, more strength, more mastery, and maybe a new ability is open up to their knowledge. 

Tier 9: Upgraded Tier 5, 6, 7, and 8. All capabilities are known to you, less drawbacks, and less weaknesses. Some abilities may no longer have consequences they use to have. Master Level of ability. 

Tier 10: Demigod level of power. This is where you’ll find individuals who have cosmic abilities, abilities that affect the future, past and present. These are abilities with near finite regeneration levels or the ability to circumvent death with little consequence. That doesn’t mean invulnerable though and there are still laws and rules that bind these individuals to mortality as others. Even those at this level are not invincible to damage and defeat.

This world does have some laws and rules to the abilities. There will be no omnipotent abilities, no absolute powers, and there is no true immortality. Also an individual cannot infinitely recover from harm over and over and over again. While consequences may be limited in some individuals, even Tier 10 can be killed even if their abilities seemingly have no consequences, they are simply limited in how they affect an individual.

Personality: Make sure you’re fleshing out a human being. I want the person to fly off the page. And I want to feel the weight of their character.
