Max Hudson Max's alarm clock blared loudly, and Max slapped the snooze button to shut it up. There was no point in going back to sleep now, that obnoxious noise already woke him up. Besides, he had to be at school in a few hours. The young man sat up, stretched out his arms, and yawned loudly. "Why do the weekends have to be so short?" He mumbled to himself. Max walked up to his closet, picked out his outfit for the day. All the while, singing a familiar song to himself. Something he could get away with, since he lived in an apartment alone, and didn't have to worry about somebody barging in. ♪Someday my prince will come Someday we'll meet again And away to his castle we'll go To be happy forever I know♪ He sang this while getting dressed, and twirling around the room like a Disney Princess. ♪Someday when spring is here We'll find our love anew And the birds will sing and wedding bells will ring Someday when my dreams come true♪ After brushing his teeth, and doing all those other boring morning routines, Max made himself a bowl of Frosted Flakes, and milk for breakfast. It was something quick and easy for a Monday morning. After that, he grabbed his purple shoulder bag, and went out the door. As he made his way through the halls of his apartment building, and down the elevator to get outside, Max noticed that there was absolutely no one here. Normally, Max ran into the other tennants of the building, especially on a Monday when it was the start of the work week, but today, there wasn't a soul to be seen. This is weird... Max thought. Where are the people? Is there some kind of holiday going on that I don't know about? Things got even weirder when Max finally stepped outside. His eyes widened at what he was seeing. "What the...?" He rubbed his eyes, and blinked, but everything he was seeing was still the same. "This isn't my street!" There was a Japanese style house, and an unfamiliar building across the way, and next door, there was an entire beach resort that definitely hadn't been there before. "Am I dreaming?" Max pinched himself to make sure, but he didn't magically wake up in bed. "Nope, this real..." Max wondered what in the world was going on, but didn't really worry about that for very long. "Hm, I guess I'm not going to school today... I suppose I should try to figure out what's going on, but on the other hand.... There is now a beach resort next door.... That means hot guys in swimsuits!" Max grinned and threw a fist in the air.
