[@Jones Sparrow] As I see it, the science officer is going to be the resident nerd on the ship.  Basically, he'll probably be collecting samples from other planets, running tests on stuff to see what the various properties of new substances are, recording new findings and all that cool stuff.  I suppose in a pinch he could also work as an assistant medic if he's needed, but since everyone pretty much seems to be needed to handle their own role on their own, that probably won't be all that necessary.  I'll get my sheet up soon-ish, I hope.
