Her parents, both teachers in the next town over, insisted that she complete her education before heading off on her trainer journey, but all school helped do was keep her pining for the day she became a trainer. So, after applying for trainership straight after her graduation, Eryn scrounged up what she could in terms of supplies before slipping on a cap and setting out to make her own name in the world. She might be taking baby steps now, but she’ll get to bounding along soon enough.
Personality:
Eryn’s bubbly and cheerful, eager to learn and persistent when she sets her mind to something. She’s a “glass half full” optimist who doesn’t do well with giving up, and becoming a strong Pokemon trainer—or maybe even champion—has always been her dream.
Pokemon Preference:
Eryn doesn’t have much of a preference. Big, perhaps—strong, intimidating Pokemon that she’ll have to train up from humble beginnings. That said, she’d be happy with a small but close-knit team to work and bond with since strength is earned, not given.

Dei

[sup]Charmander ◼ ♂ ◼ Serious | Proud ◼ Blaze [/sup]
Dei’s the leader of the team, period. He was at Eryn’s side first, and he’ll be at her side last too. Nevermind that some of his teammates are bigger, faster, or stronger, he’s the best one, so ignore them if they say differently. Sure he’s been called arrogant and stubborn, but that’s only because he takes things more seriously than most of his teammates. He’s proud of that, and if anyone ever calls him a softie, ignore that, because that’s the truest lie there is, period.

Kyllene | “Kylie”

[sup]Mawile ◼ ♀ ◼ Adamant | Sly ◼ Hyper Cutter[/sup]
As the cutest, friendliest, and nicest team member, Kylie trusts you to deduce that she’s the best. Her strength isn’t one she has to cite; it’s implicit in her confidence and her large jaws, which are fairly sharp, but there’s no reason for you to be concerned about that. What her teammates might also tell you is that she’s the smartest member on the team, and she will neither confirm nor deny that label. She will, however, say this: Flaunting talents is a good way to show a lack of confidence, and she doesn’t flaunt.

Tula | “Tutu”

[sup]Magikarp ◼ ♀ ◼ Jolly | Mischievous ◼ Rattled[/sup]
But a humble Magikarp, Tula has yet to fully understand Eryn’s aspirations of her, but nonetheless she’s fond of the girl who carries her around and delivers hearty squeezes she half-feels through her carapace. Maybe one day, she’ll be able to hold her own in battle like her teammates instead of being carried around everywhere. Maybe one day…

Erebi | “Eri”

[sup]Zorua ◼ ♂ ◼ Careful | Determined ◼ Illusion[/sup]
Eri wants to be a trainer. How and when he came to want this is something he’ll pass on sharing, but let’s just say it’s not because he wants in on the fun and games of trainership. As for what he thinks of Eryn, well, he doesn’t have much to say. He’s now where he’s never pictured himself: the Pokemon of a trainer who, for some reason, was willing to teach him how to be a trainer. Maybe he’s crazy, but he’s pretty sure she might be insane.

Peri | “Per-per”

[sup]Onix ◼ ♀ ◼ Adamant | Stubborn ◼ Rock Head[/sup]
As the biggest of the team, it’s only natural that Peri’s the strongest. She’s the loudest, the heaviest, and definitely the hardest, if being made of rocks counts for anything. Steel-types got nothin’ on her, and if that puny smudge of a fire lizard tries to assert that he’s the leader, don’t bother listening. Obviously, the strongest should lead, and frankly he’s a softie who broods way too much to be anything close to a good leader. At least Eryn’s not so sensitive.
