I really do feel like the original is highly praised because it had decent voice acting and technically didn't do anything wrong.

But then on the other hand, the game is emptier than skyrim, you spend 10-15 mins staring at a horse's behind and the side activities are scarce and repetitive. I love rockstar games but RDR was never a masterpiece. It's a polished but long winded cowboy game.
